v Cheltenham

Wonder what the going will be for the visit of The Robins? Good, Good to soft? As long as it's not frosty again. Surely not.

This could be a banana skin for us as Cheltenham haven't won a game yet in 2022.

Freddie scoring a brace of goals? Mmmm, I'll have to think hard about that one.

On paper it looks like a banker bet for us to get back into winning ways and work our way to the top spot.

Just wondering if one or two of our usual contributors have jumped ship and paddled their way over to MM?

A workman like performance, thought we looked a bit tired toward the end but another 3 points. Amazed how Wood keeps going, must be on the ready break. Glad to see Smith on the score sheet again and hope he's found his scoring boot again. Let's hope we can kick on from here and start another little run.

I thought we played quite well up until Smudge's second was ruled offside (I'd like to see the replay on that one). After that, we seemed to lose confidence and we sat back inviting Cheltenham to come onto us. It's was almost an action replay of the Bolton game. I can't understand why Warnie left Lapado on so long. He appeared disinterested and his miss from 8 yards out summed him up. I would have had JJ on much earlier to close down their back 5 and to keep them under pressure. That said, delighted with 3 points and our position in the table.

It's a difficult one with Ladapo. If we dont play him and we lose it looks like cutting off nose to spite face. If we play him and he isnt great people will ask why we are picking a player who wants away. It doesnt help that he isnt famous for his work rate. I thought he was alright yesterday without being great, but his general demeanour combined with the situation he is in makes it look like he isnt bothered when in truth it was a typical Ladapp performance. The best thing for all concerned would be for him to get the move he is after sooner rather than later.

Obviously pleased with the win but it's plain to see we are not firing on all cylinders ATM. Smith did foul his man for the goal but we should have had a penalty (Chieo)& Smiths header didn't look offside to me. Cheltenham came to park the bus & frustrate us so got what they deserved.....nowt!!!
