Ok, havent been on here all season, sorry for my tardiness.
But the stats for the season dont lie, we will be down as of tomorrow evening, but its not for the want of trying.
In 5 matches out of 43, we have only lost by more than one goal.

The losing by one goal has caught up with us, whether it be by coming form behind to lose 2-1 or to take the lead and then to either draw or lose.
A quality striker is required, but i dont think Warne can attract them whether it be on loan or bought, we need ruthlessness, guile and obviously the ability to score, Ladapo is the only one that can maybe tick this box, but even he is restricted by the way we play.
Smith, absolutely works his socks off for the team, but i think he may be gone next season.
Our final ball/crossing isnt consistently Championship standard, and neither is our finishing. In fact in all departments, we are that crucial 5% short. Ogbene isnt a striker but having his pace up front has made a difference. I do think we need something a bit different as an option up front. Someone with genuine pace and/or someone with that bit more creativity. We are a bit predictable. When teams play us they know exactly what is coming, and if they prepare for it and can handle it we struggle to find other ways to create and score.
