Watching Paing Dry

First the cup semi final today. Now PL action - Sheff Utd at Wolves. Possession based football from lots of technically gifted players with lots of appealing and attempts to con the ref, and no excitement whatsoever.

Smiler - do you think paing dries as fast as paint?🤪 I watched a bit of the semi with my City supporting future son in law. It was tepid and he left at half time to go shopping with my daughter! We complain about RUFC, but watching that rubbish week in week out would do me in!

I heard they just invented the whitest paing ever. Not white enough to cover up the scandal of Premier league football mind.

Lol. Sorry about that. My mind was so numbed that I lost the ability to type. Honestly if i was offered a free season ticket at any PL club, Man City would be bottom of the list. I know they are technically brilliant but having a season ticket there must be like having an appointment once a fortnight to watch a surgeon successfully perform a minor procedure - admirable, worthy of respect and successful the vast majority of the time, but not something you would want to see more than once. I think (it pains me to say it) that Leeds would be my choice. The outcome is less predictable but they play with an almost reckless abandon that makes them fun to watch. A bit like the old Newcastle team under Keegan.
