I do remember him hitting the back row of seats from a penalty taken at the away end. JCH was the ultimate frustrating player. There was no doubting his talent, his physique and his athleticism, but I was never convinced that he had the appetite to put in a shift for us. If he's found his mojo elsewhere, good luck to him.

Yeah agree mate, good luck to him, same with Yates...
You could argue it the other way when Alan Lee, Alex Revell and more recently Smudge, came to us and their old clubs must be wondering why they didn't do the same for them. It's a regular thing when players change clubs and sometimes it just clicks..
I do think though we give our players away though... The worst being ALF...
I must say it does seem that a few clubs have really got the reputation for putting their players in the shop window.
Ivan Toney is another great example. Done very little before the relatively big punt by posh and sold at a huge profit and worth perhaps even triple what the bees bought him for .
JCH had a chance here but ot wasn't his time . Granted, we have let a couple players go cheap.
However, we haven't had the money to speculate at the next level of players
