Warne as he is the boss and he and barker coach the players some of the set pieces and corners have been dire
I also think tony has a portion, yes we need to be careful even more than usual but our current wage structure is pathetic compared to teams above us we will never attract the talent we need to become established in championship.
They are much better than what they’ve served up recently especially the past two games hasn’t been good enough. Over hitting simple passes/shots that wouldn’t hit five nets.
I do think we have a clutch of players who are good enough, but just one or two short of being able to put the wedge in and stake a claim in the championship. Other factors play a part of course. As Ian mentions, money talks effecting recruitment; tiredness due to a small squad exacerbated by injury and suspensions. But, and
I'm loathe to say it, but in my view, we've been lacking a belief (with the exception of Warnock's brief tenure) since Evans. I have to come to the conclusion that the culture in the dressing room has a big impact on the psychology. Just my opinion of course, but each time we have been in this division the outcome always follows a similar pattern which leads to the same forgone conclusion.
Here is a copied text my mate sent me at very late o'clock this morning.
Joined the group about a month ago thinking I'd be contributing to positive comments, with it being called a supporters group and all. I'm leaving the group as I can't belive what I'm seeing. I can take all the ****e you're going to send me, but in my mind:
Chairman saved the club from extinction.
Chairman saved club by moving from robbing landlords at Millmoor.
Chairman saved club by building new stadium out of his own personal money (with some council backing).
We are yo-yoing too much, we need more stability, but how many former Premiership teams are in leagues 1 and 2? We have more stability than them.
We have too many loan players. Absolutely right, but try to get someone to come to us on what we can pay them full time when they can get somebody on loan and show their wares on the pitch, so it's worth their while; so the manager needs congratulating for getting them into the right work ethic.
I'm not deluded, anyone who thinks we can do much better on what we've got is deluded. We are lucky to be in existence - thank you Tony.
When football collapses, the business brain of Tony Stewart will mean that we are not a casualty. Be grateful for him and Paul Warne who demands 100% to the 100th minute.

Basically what I've been saying all along. Warney should have gone last time we got relegated from the championship. It's a two year plan to get out of league 1 & stay in the championship. Dressing room can dictate kind of side we have. At the moment seems not got that inner strength.
Seen a few real die-hard fans when I have a walkout. Their views are we are going down this situation very predictable need a change in a manager he takes the blame. It could be best to do it when we are officially down. Let him have three relegations on his C/V I will not be surprised if he walks before that happens.

What i believe is if tony gave him funds for the chamipionship i dont think warne is capable.of managing ar this level. That my opinion
Tilt is good example with the number of games we have warne should have rotated the defence
You should try having a week or so off and then re-visiting this site. I have, and I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Here is what I see.
We have the second lowest budget in the league. Not surprisingly, since we play teams twice a week who spend two or three times what we do, we are struggling to stay up.
As if the challenge isn't big enough already, we are in a crunch part of the season without seven players, many of them key players. Our first choice back three, our most influential midfield player and our x-factor forward are all missing. Even some of the possible replacements for them are missing. We have had a tough run of fixtures and frustratingly we have lost them all by a single goal. To compete, we rely on a high-tempo, high-pressing game. It has started to take its toll on us given the frequency of games and the injuries on top.
All of this points towards relegation trouble. There is no doubt about it, there is a fair chance we will be relegated.
Having said all that:-
1. There are still two sides below us.
2. We still have a couple of games in hand on teams above us.
3. We have a group of players who never give less than 100% for us and who have shown that they are capable of scoring goals and winning games in this division.
4. We are having a good go at it whilst maintaining financial stability while there is financial carnage all around us.
Here are a couple of ideas. How about acknowledging the reality that as much as we don't like relegation battles in the big scheme of things we are doing well to be in this division at all (unlike several much bigger clubs who would gladly swap places with us)? How about getting behind a bunch of people who may not be the richest Chairman, the best Manager or the best players in the league but who are as good as we can afford and can hope for, who are great ambassadors for the club, and who are giving it their very best against the odds to pull off what would be an amazing achievement?
Instead, we have threads about what has gone wrong and who is to blame. It's embarrassing.
In short - and this is not addressed to everyone (if the cap fits wear it) - how about behaving like real supporters?
Sorry if that ruffles some feathers, but like Whiston, Ian's mate and DKNY, I thought it needed saying.
smiler like I've tried to say if Roth U go down then it's a two year plan or call it a project to go straight back up & stay up following season. If we go down this season Warney's had 2 goes at it. That's enough our fans want to see abit of progress. Some managers can get more out of players than others, Warney definitely isn't one of them. Warnock was playing Frecklington not fully fit. Evans I know he went over budget but in the end he got two sides one to get us promoted to the championship & other to keep us there. So did he cost us more than if we stayed in league 1? Extra money for being in the championship should have covered the cost of getting us & keeping us in there.
Smiler
In regards my post iam still seething from saturdays performance. My post was a genuine attempt to open discussion what us the fans think has gone wrong a question although it may have ruffled a few feathers i feel i am entitled to ask.
The performances and results picked up then we have slumped again. And it cant be down to us just missing lindsey. Any team who builds.around one player at this level and on our budget is asking for trouble
The chairman is running the club well in terms of keeping us going through 2020 into 2023 we may still be one of the clubs that survives this period.
The players do the best they can, some of them their best isn't good enough and won't be
The manager is a nice bloke that cares and does his best, he is not a natural leader or a winner so getting us here as been a great achievement for him. I do not believe he is capable of managing at this level and keeping us in this league, with the constraints we have.
Will we go down? Very likely, is that the end of the world no, but it makes the chairmans job harder because revenue drops significantly. Should Warne be still manager in league 1, not for me no, 3 relegation's can't be good for him mentally. The question for me is how will we go down, if it is like his first relegation then that is total failure, if we fail to beat his last failure in points then we are clearly moving backwards and it is another failure.
I hope he proves us wrong and keeps us up, because that will be an outstanding achievement

All fair enough Derby.
If (as seems more likely than not) we are relegated, then we take stock of it and see what to do from there. You have to wonder whether Tony will stick with Warne or try and freshen it up. You also have to wonder whether Warne himself will fancy another crack at getting us out of League One again. Those are sensible discussions to be had at the end of the season when we see where we are No problem from me with that. In the meantime though our best chance is to stick with a bloke who the players give everything for and who knows us inside out.
My point really (and this is not aimed at you) is that we are actually having a good go at staying up and still in with more than a fighting chance despite all of the many obstacles, and it is disappointing that some so-called supporters seem to have given up before the players have and have been quick to turn and throw blame around when we are still in the middle of the battle. If the players were as negative as the supporters, we really would be in trouble.

I you disagree with me say so, i wont come back at you i respectnyour opinion differs to.mine

Glad u disagree.
It will be interesting to see how many will turn up next season see who the real fans are as soon as season tickets are out straight down to the ticket office.

HM, in my opinion heaving a go at the players, chairman and manager in the middle of a run in which the same set of players are dragging themselves out twice a week to compete against clubs with massively more resources than us and looking to point the finger of blame somewhere is not helpful. The two things I can guarantee you is that Warne and Barker didn't misplace a pass on Saturday and that Crooks, Wiles etc (who were brilliant during our good run) didn't mean to do it either. I think the best way for a team to come through a difficult period is to stick together, and I think that includes the supporters. You think otherwise. Fair enough. We are all grown ups. I won't take your comments personally and I know you won't take mine personally either. I suspect that given your moniker you are hoping for the right result tomorrow more than most.
Glad we sorted that out
Yes growing up on walkey lane surrounded by fowls but the best bit is my family used to have a pig farm that used to part of the land the ground is built on lol
