This lad has been outstanding this year, some thought he wasn't good enough for League 1 and he has shown that he is a good championship level player, we are not the same team without him he drives our engine room, he is the best we have at pressing high up the pitch, we missed him against cardiff.
It took him a while to settle perhaps in part because of issues that were well do***ented. His performances this year have got better and better to the point where he became the heartbeat of the side. We will miss him.
I was one who took a time to warm to Lindsay. I felt he looked like a headless chicken when he first came to us and just provided energy. However, this season he has been arguably our most consistent player. As i said before he wins a lot of second balls, runs all over the pitch, drives us forward and presses high as said by Derby. Let us hope he gets fit quicker than predicted and he doesn't miss too many games.
When I saw him limping and stretching at 9 minutes , I was screaming at the screen for him to get treatment. I can understand why he didn't. Like most things you have to have 'been there and done that 'to begin to manage a difficult situation.
Huge loss. I thought he was our most influential player . We don't have a replacement. I'm not convinced the team can quite play the same without him.
