Same starting line-up as Boro. Can't knock that. Pity Barlaser is still absent.

Free hit today - if we get anything it will be a bonus. But after our last 3 performances, I wouldn't be surprised if we come away with something.

Half time - two down. We are trying hard, but Swansea are very good. Big and strong at the back and dangerous going forwards. The likes of Lowe, Ayew and Hourihane are good players. Credit where it's due, in an otherwise tight game they have produced two excellent strikes and they deserve their lead.

Their 2nd goal could our keeper have done better. Hope this tells us we are still coming up short. Who we got on the bench to change anything? I can only see potentially Giles but that's asking alot.

Not sure what the hell you mean to achieve Gwru reminding us about 'coming up short'. What a daft thing to say. I don't think anyone suddenly thought we were the best side in the division and I think everyone realises we have a battle on our hands to stop up. Check on the Boro thread and you will see that for yourself. We have given it a real go today and given them a real contest, but they have got that bit more quality than us (they pay Ayew £50k a week apparently) and today they have made it count. Is that a surprise to anybody? I doubt it. We have played very well today. It was a good game. At 2-1 they were rattled. 3-1 seriously flatters them. Nothing to beat ourselves up about, and plenty of positives to take out of it. Well played Millers.

Just take positives. Giles gave us something. Ladapo took his goal well. Robbo got some minutes. Move on to tues Barlaser should be back. Could be at least one signing in.

No shame in that performance today. Swansea scored three superb goals and that's what you get when you can afford the quality that they have. Giles looks like a great addition. Some fabulous crosses and has pace as well. I don't think Warne will be too disappointed. Three points against two sides who fancy their chances at a Premiership push is not bad going.

they are a very good team, we did well the 2nd half their 3rd goal was Blackmans fault beat at the near post, Giles looks the business and wiles was excellent when he played deeper in central mid. Derby keep getting 1-0 wins and Tuesday will be a tough game, a win would be great but a draw keeps us still with a chance, the problem for me is there is nobody in that mid or lower mid table that lose 4 or 5 on the trot which means we have to win 2 games every time they win 1 to get close to the others. However we never gave in and I think we would have got a 2nd if their 3rd hadn't of gone in. Some good things in that game

No complaints, Swansea were very very good. To the doom mongers this game doesn't define our season, the games v teams around us do but the other results today don't help us one little bit.

Played ok 2nd half better Giles looks decent. Trouble is I don't know where those back to back wins are going to come from we need to give us a chance. Hope we can do something in the transfer window in the next couple of days.

I think you could argue that Blackman could have done better on the second goal, Derby. He might have tried to catch it or knock it wider, although he still cleared the box and it was a wonderful hit from Grimes. I seriously don't think he could do a thing about the third though It was hammered from a fairly central spot six yards out, and went in about an inch inside the post. I seriously doubt that any keeper in world football would have saved it. As always though, I appreciate that others might see it differently.

Just a glimmer of hope in the other results - Wycome losing 7-2 has got to be good news. The sooner we can consign them to relegation and make it Wycombe plus two to go down, the better. Forest failed to win at home. And Coventry/Birmingham ending all square was probably the best of outcomes. Derby look solid now though apart from their defeat to us, and Wednesday winning is definitely a blow. I have to say that looking at the fixtures today, I had the feeling that other were going to pick points up and it was always going to be a game where a point would have been a bonus for us.

I am sure that Warne will remind the players that they performed very well today. Play like that for the rest of the season and we will be alright.

smiler I said at half time our keeper could have done better with their 2nd goal. We've got 3 keepers two we've seen who both have question marks against them. I'd like to see Vickers before it's too late. Flo I still don't know why he's still here, at a guess Derby don't want him back. Nothing else to say I know we can't break our budget just do what we can in this transfer window.

No complaints from me with our performance today. Up against a decent team who had only let four goals in from their last ten league games, so to get one and push them hard was a good effort. I have a slight worry, and that is the players are showing signs of tiredness and some, (S.McDonald) lack of game time. The difference in quality in the final third was there for all to see. Hourihane is quality and he is always likely to punish you. We are trying to get another player in, and it sounds like it is somebody who can play in the ten role. We would benefit greatly, if we could get a genuine number ten in. Young Giles did well and he gives us a threat down the left. Still believe our task of staying up is massive, but i also know these lads will give it everything.

Watched on ifollow and we did ok, thought we gave them ball back easily a few times - goals were unfortunate, do also wonder about keeper getting something on second one but haven't seen it from behind net. Can't fault our workrate it's very good - we just came up against a very good team today who will win far more matches than they lose. We have to concentrate on beating bottom half teams if we want to stay up.

For their second goal, Blackman was tracking backwards and was unbalanced and therefore understandably decided to punch rather than catch. If you watch his punch, it's mistimed and he doesn't direct the ball out wide, which was his intention. It was a pity, because he'd made a decent save which gave away the corner from which they scored.

On balance, he's doing OK and he makes some very good shot stopping saves. To experiment with Vickers, just in case he might do better, is not rational thinking I'm afraid.

February is going to be a really key month for us. I stand by my prediction that we can bring Birmingham, Coventry, Cardiff and possibly Huddersfield into the relegation battle. As Derby has already said, most teams around us are capable of picking up the odd win so we need to put together a few back to back wins/draws to keep the pressure on.

Still a long time to go and every chance we can survive. One thing is for sure, we won't go down with a whimper - every team will know they've been in a game!

Odd game.

Bar the three goals they never had us under any real or sustained pressure and at the time of the third goal I actually thought we were the better side.

Second goal was really disappointing from our point of view, a keeper of Blackman’s size should be catching the corner all day long.

Huge game Tuesday but it always was regardless of today’s result.

Didn't expect much from today-they are a top of the league side- but we didn't disgrace ourselves. Without a shadow of a doubt the next four games will define our season. Could really do with winning them all because fixtures beyond look pretty horrible. We have only two days to strengthen our squad. Just don't see our chairman sanctioning any spending.

Loans prior to Giles & including Johansson lacking but as I've said can we send them back? That's starting point a reliable keeper.

Blackman has been good recently. He was a bit unfortunate today. As Glenn said, he was trying to knock the ball wider with that punch but Ayew did enough to put him slightly off balance and he mis-punched slightly. Even so he got reasonable distance on it and most times it wouldnt be returned into the net as it was. It was an excellent hit. Looking at a re-run, the first goal was going wide but got a deflection. Not our day today, but we didnt roll over and for long periods were well in the game. If someone had offered me two draws from Boro and Swansea I'd have taken it, so a three point return feels alright.

smiler you've got to agree Blackman Johansson Flo Hirst haven't cut the mustard! Flo Hirst showed nothing when they came on today.
