Luckily two of those games will be at home especially Cardiff so no long distance travel.
We have to make these count now especially as derby will strengthen this month.
Its had to obvious to warne that
Vassell has had his chance now
I'm still of the opinion to keep Hirst. I wish warne would start him instead vassell.
We need a left back definitely matlock injury prone now
I agree trouble is warney does not give him enough game time don't be surprised if he gets sent back. Kayode scored again no brainer bringing him back don't loan him to donny.
We don't have much money to throw at it. Makes sense to me sell Vassell get Kayode back & keep him here. Hirst I'd keep him he's showing abit more. Money we have got to spend need that for a left wing/full back. For end of the transfer window see whose back fit & were else we need bodies in.
Jerry Yates was far more prolific than Kayode in league two, but I think we would all agree he is nowhere near being Championship class. Vassell has scored goals in league one but finds it very tough in the Championship. Ladapo was one of the top scorers in league one but struggled a bit in the Championship. That is because it is a massive step up in class. With that in mind TH, I am wondering why you think it is a no brainer to throw a kid with three goals in seventeen league two appearances into a Championship relegation battle?
With respect, he might well be a worse option than Hirst and Vassell. I would suggest that either Hirst or Vassell would do extremely well in a decent league two side. In fact Vassell has done well at that level and the one above. As an example, Yates was a superstar in league two, is finding it difficult in league one and would be out of his depth in the Championship. It is a huge step up in class. This squad we have got would be in the top two or three in the league below. I am not saying that Kayode cant or wont become a good player. I'm just saying that there isnt any evidence that I can see to suggest that he would impove our squad at the moment - just blind faith that players not yet playing will be better than the ones who are.
Totally agree with that smiler. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing I'd like to see more than us bring Kayode back and see him bang in the goals in the Championship to keep us up, but any expectation that he would do that is exactly what you say, blind faith and nothing more.
I would love to see Josh Kayode become a great player with us. I am sure we have people reviewing every Carlise game and monitoring his progress. If they think he can add something to us, fantastic and I will be behind him 100%. Kyle Vassell might struggle in the Championship but make no mistake - there isnt a League Two club that wouldnt love to have him starting up front for their side next week. I will let people who know what they are doing decide whether and when Kayode is ready. I am not going to call for him to play just because the players we have in their now are not quite Champiinship quality and I want to see someone else have a crack at it just for the sake of it.
We have not got money to buy ready made players panic loans in the last week in January proven not to work. From what bit have seen of Kayode plus what Carlise think of him and the write up he had in the tizer could be our best option. As I said if as rumoured that he could be going to donny on loan and he is scoring for them I can't see that going down well with the supporters.

Kayode is one of my boys. Only time I've seen him proper was when he came on last season in Leasing.com Trophy. Instantly impressed. It's a no brainer get him & Cooper back & play them against Everton in the cup. See if they are up to it. Better than getting Tilt back. Need some young legs in the side good enough to give us a better chance of getting out of this.
Gwru, please answer me this. As a staunch millers fan why aren't all Rotherham players your boys. I really hope it is not this weird belief you have that, you spotted him first and you can tell everybody how good you are. i thought we had got past that, or i was hoping we have.
whiston01 it's not bragging rights saying I saw potential in players 1st. Some players grow on me some it's instant Kayode & Cooper it's the latter. I know players not good enough think we all know that.
In my world not going to bore you talking about work but if couldn't do the job you was trained for you weren't kept on. Surely that's how football should work.
You will never break through Whiston although I totally respect your honourable attempts. There is something deep and psychological going on. He will be the last person to realise or admit what he is. He thinks it is a good idea to give Jake Cooper, who has played no higher than National League North, his first team debut against Dominic Calvert Lewin at Goodison. And nobody will be able to 'tell him different'. He convinces himself that he has an extraordinary gift for spotting talented young players (Bailey-King, Hinds, Lamy, Cooper, Kayode etc) after ten minutes and then champions them in the hope that they come good so that he can gain some kudos. He writes off others, often without seeing them, for similar reasons. When it turns out he is wrong, he rationalise it by saying 'performances change my mind'. On the rare occasions he is right, he claims to be a genius. He isnt at all interested in the concept of supporters, administrators and players all pulling in the same direction as part of a team. It is just all about him and his ego and self esteem. It is very, very odd behaviour.
BTM it's not me whose living in a fantasy world. We aren't going to get players like top championship clubs get. Steve Evans who isn't liked by many on here though I'm not fan of him the person but as a manager he kept us up. That's all I ask now a side to keep us up.
Watched quest highlights last night. Wycombe abit naive for 2 of Middlesbrough's goals but looked dangerous on the attack. Seen worse sides this season. Admit it Roth U this season on the whole haven't looked at home in the championship.
What I've seen, most games on iFollow, Roth U this season on the whole have looked at home in the championship.
Early season we had some rotten luck compounded with bad end of game management. If we'd got the points our performances deserved then, we'd be having a different conversation, sitting nearer mid table.
Results also increase or reduce confidence, which is a massive factor regardless of quality. Barnsley are a good example, a few wins and they look a diferrent team...
I don't think we are far off having what we need to stay in this league. We need a few new players and some luck and we MIGHT be ok.
