Fantastic idea. Start with both of the Ihiekwe brothers.

Interesting line up Brad. Last season, on the occasions which Wiles and Barlaser played together in midfield, I thought they weren't effective as they have broadly similar games and got in each others way. However, I like the idea of the two wingers who both have potential - particularly Miller.

I wonder if it's time to experiment with trying Ihiekwe in midfield (ala Ajayi) in front of the back four. I liked Thompson last year and he might work well alongside MacDonald?

Wiles could always fill the LB position.

I really want Miller to do well. He threatens to do good things. He is decent in the air, has a good left foot and a bit of pace. I have to say that so far in the games he has played he has managed to get into great positions on a number of occasions and up to press hasnt to my recollection managed either a meaningful shot on target or final ball. He needs to get his head up a bit and deliver an end product. I am hoping that the staff can work with him as they obviously worked with Cheo to improve that part of his game. I would go back to 4411. Blackman: Olosunde, Ihiekwe (Michael, not his brother), MacDonald, Harding; Josefzoon, Lindsay, Barlaser, Wiles: Vassell: Ladapo.

I'll know with side Warney picks Saturday if we have any chance. This next 6 games aren't for lightweight players like Clarke, Flo & Miller. Surely TS isn't going to let us be too far adrift after those 6 games.

 Of course you will Gwru.

Like you knew when he picked Clarke and Olosunde at Ipswich and you announced just before our 2-0 away win that we had no chance.

Like when he picked Vassell at Oxford and you predicted a defeat just before Vassell scored twice in a 3-1 win.

Like you predicted doom and gloom at half time at MK Dons when he brought Vassell and 'he never delivers' Ladapo on and we turned 2-0 down at half time into a 3-2 win with two Ladapo goals.

Like you said at half time during the cup game at Solihul that we had no chance of coming back because there is 'no fight in a Warney side', just before we turned 3-0 down into 4.3 up.

Like when you said after one game that Olosunde was useless, and when you said that Ihiekwe was shot, and that Harding was no good at all, and that signing players from Scotland never works despite Vaulks and Lindsay being two of your favourites, and when you said that signing Michael Smith was a waste of time because players from lower leagues are never good enough, and when you wanted Barlaser sending back to Newcastle because he was too lightweight, and when you said that Hirst was the answer to our prayers this season.

I will confess to being a bit lost with where you are on Clarke.  A couple of weeks ago he 'had something'.  Apparently now he hasn't got it anymore.  When and where did he lose 'it' ? Please do not try to clarify.  It would be a waste of time.

It is clear from that track record Gwru (and I could have given you many, many similar examples) that you are, as you suggest, a football genius and that you will indeed know as soon as the teams are announced what the outcome will be.

smiler you've got on situation now. I've said performances of players change your mind. Take Flo he made winning goal against Preston since then he's looked weak. Miller same doesn't look strong enough. Clarke same. See tomorrow side Warney puts out. That's my opinion those 3 players aren't strong enough.

Let me try again to explain in words of one syllable.

When a person is wrong about things again and again and again, they look stupid when they claim to know everything because they obviously don't.

So when you say 'I'll know with side Warney picks Saturday if we have any chance' you make yourself look stupid because of all the things you have been wrong about before. Some of which (and there could have been many more) I have listed

A five year old of average intelligence would understand that Gwru. Do you?

smiler I haven't got a clue where you are coming from. I've explained in my opinion we need our strong players now. Last few games we haven't got it right. Wait while tomorrow see line up see if I'm right.

Smiler - for balance and in fairness, I'm going to start a separate thread with the issues on which gwru has been correct. It should appeal to him - answers will be short!

Glenn, he says he doesnt know where I am coming from. Could it be any clearer? I know I sometimes like a long post, but on this occasion I am truly lost for words.

I can't say I've missed my week away from arguing with an Amoeba but I've got to ask gwru, how do you actually survive from one day to the next? Merely breathing in and out seems like something beyond your comprehension.

No smiler, it couldn't be any clearer. I hope for his own sake he is a troll, because if he really is so braindead that he can't understand what you mean then God help him.
