Only just over a thousand millers are watching it Pail Davis reckons some might be watching it for free. In these dour times isn't it up to the fans to support the club in any small way they can. I even updated my broadband speed from 4 measly bits to 40 mega bits so I can, get it. Do these people want a club you find out who the real fans are is there anyone alive out there.
You've got a real hang up with being a 'real fan's haven't you THMiller? I am one of three in my house who support the Millers. We subscribe to ifollow. One payment and the three of us can watch it. Via my laptop the broadcast was buffering every two minutes. On my eldest's ChromeBook we get a perfect transmission and this week will be getting a ChromeCast so that we can watch it on the main tv screen. Is that alright with you? Am I proper fan? Will I be allowed into Millers Heaven?
Was out Sunday told some I've paid £40 to watch us so far this season. They looked at me like I'd lost it! I'm not drinking watching it so it's actually saving me money. I follow good enough coverage for me, Brecks he's worth listening to.
If Paul Davis is allowed to write about it so can I someone on twitter put it a lot better than me. It is only a tenner you tight wads I will not use the swear word.
Makes you wonder if we missed a trick by not selling season tickets. Here in Lincoln, season ticket holders have the option of free access to ifollow plus a credit for future use, or, a future credit with no ifollow, or, a pro rata refund for the remaining games. Last season they had 6200 season ticket holders so would imagine about the same this season. That's a good cash injection even though some may choose to get a refund.
Rotherham have about 1300 ifollow users. 80% goes to the club - that's about £10.5K per match.
On a rough calculation, I reckon Lincoln will be bringing in around £40K per match from ifollow.
BTW, I've paid £40 for ifollow so far and only seen 2 games. Does that make me a real fan?!

That just means you've got more money than sense Glenn.
The good news for me is that I have fellow Millers in the building to watch the games with so there is still that sense of a 'crowd' and some excitement. One of them was screaming at Warney to put Vass on at half time on Saturday. Apparently he is the best striker at the club! All opinions are valid.
I think the camerawork and commentaries are very good and value for a tenner.
The Lincoln scheme is an interesting one. The problem for them is that they are racking up a lot of potential debt. I wonder if fans will be asked or perhaps invited at some point to waive it?

I think that'll be the case in a lot of homes where several people who would normally have season tickets are all watching the same stream, they're not exactly going to pay a tenner each are they? There might only be a thousand paying but there will be a lot more watching. I've paid for every game so I pass the TH real fan test.
Some pubs that are showing the matches as well despite it being illegal.
I also know of a few of our older fans who would love to pay to watch but either don't have internet access or a computer, or just aren't very tech savvy and are having to make do with Radio Sheffield.
