How are football clubs able to pay their players, cover their other overheads and stay in the black during this current Covid19 pandemic?
I don't think the revenue from the sales of flexi season tickets along with the merchandise, currently available in the Red and White Shop, are sufficient to keep the Club afloat.
Is there a magic money tree that we haven't been told about? As for the 'new normal'. It appears to be getting stranger by the hour, the day and the week.
Latest news is that the PM, Johnson is due to reveal plans of a winter lock down this week commencing, Monday, 21st September 2020!!
Can't see us watching live football inside the NYS any time this side of Christmas. Which Christmas? Who knows?
If there are any financial consultants who contribute to this board please enlighten me. Let's have your input. I'm an ignoramus when it comes to accountancy in relation to magic money trees.
My guess is as far as the millers are concerned our chairman is putting his hand in his pocket to keep us going. I am doing my tiny bit let the club keep the money I was owed from last season have a flex ticket plus going on iFollow. The only way I can see this country getting back to some kind of normality is to infect the herd. Let all of the age groups who this virus does not affect badly go about their normal lives. The age groups that are more likely to get this I am afraid that they will have to self isolate. I am in that group but what else can we do until a treatment is developed. Tell me another way of getting through the situation we are in at the moment, no one knows what is happening the only thing Boris is any good at is catching this bug. Get the crowds back into the NYS and look after those of us who can't go.
