Seriously, how can they even manage the playoffs?

Given that clubs furloughed staff and are completely unprepared for a resumption of the season - just how are they going to manage it before the next one has to be planned? Aren't the fixtures for next season published in June? It would take at least 4 weeks to get anyone even close to match fit - maybe more, so how does it not run over into next season?? Players out of contract etc. Forget the RUFC promotion debacle, I just can't see them bring people back from furlough, completing a set of tests and then prepping for the games.

Got to get promotions & relegations confirmed before fixtures can come out for next season.

That was my point - there's no time to get everything done but they still seem to think it can be done. I'm sure in normal times we are only a couple of weeks away from announcing fixture list for new season

Well its happening, the EFL & Sky are gearing up for 15 matches of play offs.


Which means we are up, all we need is the rubber stamping of it after tomorrows meeting.
