How tall are our players?

Just been looking at the height of our players on the official website.   Richard Wood seems about right at 191cm (6ft 4in), but surely Matt Crooks is taller than 183cm (6ft) and Michael Smith is taller than 180cm (5ft 11in).

Is this a ruse to fool the opposition (and if so have I just blown it?) or do we need to invest in a tape measure?

Against Lincoln last Friday, apart from their two CBs, it looked like men versus schoolboys! Crooks looks about 4 inches taller than Richard Wood - or is it an optical illusion?

Crooks is rubbish, don't you read this board? He doesn't run like a footballer, and only scores lucky goals, including the lucky 35 yard chip over the keeper. He was cleaning his left boot when it accidentally went off.

TC looked on socerbase to see how tall they said Trevor Clarke was cause wikipedia on him said he was 5ft 5. Socerbase had him at 5ft 6. I would say he's bout as tall as John Taylor. thought Taylor was bout 5ft 2.

When Taylor joined said he was 5ft 10 I think. 1st time I saw him I thought he was the ball boy he can't be much taller than 5ft 2.

Crooks is massive - surely he is the tallest player we have. He always looks 2 feet taller than his midfield opponent. However, boy is he lucky, last week stumbling over his own massive feet he managed to inadvertently let the ball bump off his head and beat the Lincoln keeper.
