I was amazed Sunday Vassell was even on bench neminds coming on. It's just Warney's boys. So you know Hinds or Lamy unlikely to be involved. Sooner have Olosunde at left back than Clarke. I'd bring Lindsay back in if up to speed so different from Sunday's starting 11 Wood & Lindsay or Wiles in.

Gwru please explain why would you change the midfield two after they dominated the game on Sunday and both played so well?

Didn't say change midfield play as they are Wiles with Olosunde at left back. Lindsay for me once up to speed our best midfielder.

Apart from Crooks who was passing to them & Hastie couldn't fault rest of the players. Get Lindsay & Lamy up to speed against Hull.

There was no way I could tell if the Blackpool goal was offside the crowd at that end were confident it was. Decent performance considering the amount of games over the xmas period. We have got ourselves in a great position get some business done in this transfer window just go for it

Again much better, a good tempo from the start and we deserved to win.

Barlaser had his best game and should have got MOTM. Looks like we’ve finally started to put more work into our corners and free kicks, we look much more dangerous which is crucial as we aren’t the type of side to out football anyone.

Another good day at the office for Warney and his boys. Blackpool were no pushovers and were far superior to Peterborough. It was another game in which we had lots of possession and attacking intent, but few direct chances on goal. Blackpool should have been one up early on if their man had kept his head. I'm eating my previous critical words on Barlaser as he is growing into a great play-maker and his set pieces are superb. His corner for Smith's opener was like a dart and his late free kick was class. I'd have made him MoM but it was difficult to pick out any individual today.

As for the officials; we had a female lines person who was afraid to raise her flag for anything. At the opposite end we had a male linesman who used his flag but at the wrong times. I haven't seen their goal playback yet, but from where I sit - in line with the six yard box - it looked as though at least three of their players were offside. If I'm wrong I apologise, but it looked a poor decision. As for the Ref, some of his decisions were unfathomable. However, it's not an infrequent observation at NYS these days.

Great start to the New Year - onwards and upwards.

I thought Blackpool had some decent players as well. Peterborough slipping up again, bar a couple of good forwards I always think there is too much hot air about them usually drummed up by their mouthy chairman on Twitter.

The Blackpool goal was offside by a mile, obviously you should play to the whistle but I’m convinced that’s why Iversen never attempted to come and claim the cross as he must have been convinced the flag was to go up.

Had a look at the equaliser goal I am none the wiser I think we will have leave it to the assistant referee even when they are wrong they are right. I still prefer it to VAR. Woody was mentioned on quest today where would we be without him or as gwru says get rid at 30 they are past it some have never had it

I was half expecting a bit of a dour arm wrestle at the end of a busy period of games in quick succession, but it was quite a good game. Blackpool came to play and I thought they were a decent side, but I dont think anyone could dispute that we were the better side and that we deserved the win. It was good to see us get on the front foot early. I thought it was one of those games where every player would more or less get a 7 out of 10. They all put a good shift in and all did their jobs. With results around us mostly going for us, it was a really good win. It seems to be coming together nicely.

I give praise when gained. Richard Wood this last game & a half been solid. Just yesterday I thought bringing Hastie didn't give us nothing. You can be too loyal to your players sometimes. I'd have liked to have seen Lamy on playing on the right, switching Ogbene to the left. I haven't been Vassell's biggest fan but he gave us something when he came on. All defence played well. Barlaser standout player for us.

Still wont let your Warneys Boys bull**** go, will you gwru? Wiles was out on his feet. Hastie got 20 minutes. He did ok. We played pretty well and won. Warne presumably picked a team to win and made what he thought were the right substitutions to give us the best chance to win. I'm not sure loyalty or over-loyalty was a factor. What makes you think it was? Hastie hasnt exactly been a regular lately. Warne hasnt been picking Lamy but says we are short of options in wide positions. That tells me that Lamy isnt really near the side. They work with him every day and clearly dont think he is ready. Can you accept that and leave it there? Or will you have to tell us about it on every single bloody post you grace us with for the rest of the season?

These are some of the posts from less than two weeks ago. " No confidence in Warne to change it. Tony need to change it by changing him ".... " Absolute rubbish, basic things done wrong. How can people defend the coaching at this club. We have no idea, no shape, the midfield doesn't want the ball "..... "Two points from twelve relegation form "..... Think we are ready for a change of manager, someone who can play more attractive football. Problem is finding someone other than a yes man prepared to work for the present chairman".... "Change the assistant manager or bring in a better coach" ..... Players brought in we've had missing links all season. Keep playing same players who'll never be good enough."...

Well, twelve days in football must be a long time, or have we changed the manager and coach. Signed a boat load of players and turned it around? No,we still have that grafter and good human being Warne, the highly qualified coach who puts in a shift on the training ground and the same hard working players who have battled to get us up to second in the table. I have said many times that this will be a roller coaster of a season and your loyalty will be tested in the coming weeks i am sure of that. what you have to do though imo is to stick with the team who are running the show. Perhaps he has found a new blend of green tea and it is having positive effects!!!

I have nothing to add to Glenn Millers and Smilers post from yesterday. The real top two posters on this site and hope the three wise men and friends are beginning to believe in what is being done at the club. Now that would be a good new years resolution.

smiler I trust my judgement. I'd have a match fit Lindsay in for Crooks anyday. Hastie he's shown nothing since 1st couple of games for us. I've seen Lamy on the right prefer him he could be the player to make the difference. Yesterday defence couldn't fault them all then apart from Barlaser we weren't firing on all cylinders.

Gwru I'm afraid I dont trust your judgment at all. At least half the players who have played this week and beaten three top half sides have been written off by you at one time or another. Wood, Ladapo, Olosunde, Thompson, Crooks, Ihiekwe and Morris for beginners. Probably more. You havent got a clue. A bit of balance and realism is needed. We are doing well at the moment but I'm not going over the top. Winning three in a row doesn't make us the best team in the league. We will have poor spells and losing three in a row wont make us the worst. As that wise man Whiston says, there will be ups and downs but the work ethic is tremendous. Keep supporting them (in the true sense) and let's see where it takes us.
