Where would we be without Richard Wood

I have told my fans on here my favourite player is woody turns up puts a performance in always fit. Where would we have been today without him Robertson always half unfit this player we got from Bury looks like another sick note. I will ask my friend gwru we would not have won the match today without some one like him in the team. Can Hinds play in central defence you have to have some players you can rely on.

It's a terrible league this that's how we get away with playing Wood & Jones. Get shut of both end of the season.

We would be short of a defender that's where we would be with out wood. Yes he make mistakes he wouldn't be human if he did

Reading the views of some people who went yesterday Jones had a decent game but he is very injury prone. Is that defence line up the best we have got seems to be. Don't listen to gwru he thinks any player over 30 should be given the boot as long as they are doing a job for us I am a happy puppy.

woody is not the best footballer, probably Messi is, but he is a very effective defender and captain. He is a piece in a jigsaw and it usually looks better when he is in it.

He would have been in my 11 way back when SE brought him to the club.

He was sent on loan a lot, kept getting in and then dropped but stuck at it, never moaned and always gave everything and aside from one or two issues against real pace (which aint exploited too much due to the cover and his central position) he is a star

Wood and Jones were immense at the back yesterday, and yes my other half and I made the 25 mile journey to the game, which was pay on the day for Miiiers. Although no doubt Pep will watch two minutes of highlights and disagree.

Making the effort to go and watch the Millers away gives you no right to an opinion TC. What can you possibly have seen that's not available to everyone on the Sky highlights!

Only seen goals on Quest. Need a rest from it after the Wycombe game.

I agree with Derby. If you want an experienced head to give you leadership and mix it in League One, Woody is your man. He is due a goal too, if we can get the dead-ball delivery right.

Totally agree with the SE statement.  Remember saying to my lad at Swansea in the league cup when Woody actually started a game and was immense - that I didn't understand why he didn't get more game time

Unlucky with the hamstring . However, will give us time to assess Thompson and its his chance to make a shirt his own.
