What do people think to what he said?

I love the fact he admits to being a teacher along with barker, what is the old saying "those than can do, those that can't teach"

Overall he admitted that the subs caused the issues which they did.

What comes across though is that we are suffering a lot of injuries, hamstrings especially and cramp, there has to be questions over the fitness and preparation.

last point he said that he doesn't know how to make the players mentally stronger. well that and fitness are all under his control. He himself admitted he will be judged on results and was already talking about maybe not being here soon if things don't improve. For me he comes across as very negative and not an inspirational leader at all.

totally agree

He has always been weak at interviews and if I were a player id be flat as a pancake after hearing my boss say that.

I fear the worse. Im not sure he can pull it around for a good enough season. We have all seen how these things go and its got the signs that probably point to a bad season.

I think he might be gone if we don’t beat Bolton.

He’s a brilliant bloke but it’s going a bit too far at the moment. Take the pre Donny radio Sheffield for example. I turned it off because it was just nearly twenty minutes of dont boo Taylor, and how good Darren Moore and Donny are.

There’s a reason we stop playing after an hour and go negative, it’s coming from the coaching staff. When the game is tight it’s mass panic, we ended the game with Smith on the wing and Mattock playing as a wide striker.

Very worried.

I'm not going to call for his head yet....

BUT, I really do think we have a very very good set of players now, which makes it a bit frustrating.

Hastie and Ogbene in particular look fantastic additions, Morris had a great game yesterday and generally we are defending OK. It's goals we need.

It's his job to get them playing together and winning matches - he needs to do so soon...

He isn't and never has been mentally tough enough for this job. That's why he surrounds himself with soft players who wont kick up a commotion and employs mates on his coaching staff. The club should appoint Ronnie as Director of Football to provide some experience and advice but it wont happen because i suspect the chairman is not his biggest fan !
