Danny Cowley and the fixture debacles.

Cannot believe he has the cheek to bleat about Donny’s advantage....didn’t hear him grumbling when they had the same advantage against us! Speaking to BBC Radio Lincolnshire after Tuesday's loss at MK Dons, Cowley said: "It's a huge disadvantage for us, there's no hiding place and claimed Saturday's opponents Doncaster, who were due to face Bolton on Tuesday, would now have an unfair advantage as they were not involved in a midweek fixture. Whilst agreeing with much of his and Joey Barton’s comments regarding the EFL I think it is us who have had the greatest disadvantages at the start of this season!

He’s right in some respects, it’s a complete mess at the minute. Still waiting to see if Bolton fancy turning up this weekend or not, funny how they have pulled out a player welfare excuse. Where was this concern with players that haven’t been paid properly for months on end?

complete mess.

shambles for everyone and thats why its got to be kept in order, and they arent really doing so.

As usual the EFL communication lacks clear directions and gives the impression its a new story every day.

Something needs to be done to remove bad owners or effectively stop them having the power to kill a club. Fit and proper test aint worth much at all. The greedy chairman in the prem should give more too.

The EFL were warned 2 years ago that these two clubs and several others were in dire straights by an independent financial assessor. Sent then the figures and his summary and says he got nothing back except a smirk and "its all under control".

The established prem clubs spend 50-60% on wages.
champs and L1 are up to nearly 99%
L2 76%

these figures represent trends.

Its easy to see that the smaller clubs are on a trapeze and one bad decision could entirely cave in the financial structure of that club
