Don't Panic Mr mannering

The lack of activity in the transfer market is a concern and this is why

13 players have left the club since the end of the season we have brought in 2 !!!!!

We have 3 more players that are likely to leave in Vaulks, Forde and Purrington

We have no right back, no goalkeeper and no goal scorer

Warne stated he wants a first team squad of 20, that means we will only have 3 players spare on a match day if we fill the bench, that leaves things very tight especially as we know we have 5 players that suffer a lot from injuries.

Warne also stated he wanted the business done early, we are 50% of the way through, pre-season starts in a week

warne also stated he wanted most if not all the squad together before germany

Anyone that thinks we will do well by getting players at the last minute, that have not trained are not listening to our own manager

We have only 4 bids in for players according to Hamshaw and 1 looks dead

We failed to get the lad from Ross County for the sake of £50k

So by the targets set by warne and his team, the summer is not going well so far, a team like us cannot lose that many players over the summer and expect to be in the top half of the league

Not time to panic yet but the next 2 weeks if we haven't brought in a minimum of 4 players including a goalie and goal scorer we shouldn't expect a lot this season.

How TS says we are in a better place is beyond me, perhaps he means the family finances

UTM and fingers crossed

It doesn’t seem that busy across all of the divisions which is strange as pre season is in a week. Look at the players that have left us, don’t think any of them are fixed yet.

Clubs are pricing each other out and it has a knock on effect to the lower levels. Leeds have just demanded £30 million for a player Villa want for an example. Like I said this knocks down to lower league clubs with the stance of “well so and so is worth that so our player must be worth X”

Regarding the keeepr we are close to Iversen at Leicester City. Loan deal so similar keeper to Rodak, young lad and a Denmark u21 who played at Oldham last season. don’t think we will replace any of the wingers so PW will change shape, possibly 433.

Brad did they take your funny bone out when you was born! TS has gone mostly in house for the right formula. I'm giving it chance, nobody else seems to be signing anyone. See whose in the squad for the 1st home friendly on July 23rd. I'll be there.

I will also be there no sausage rolls for me hope it is a nice sunny day NYS looks even better in the sunshine.

Yep good work from the club all round. Hopefully this is a turning point and Warne gets more money to spend within reason.
