Former scored today. Sure he doesn't want to be here, but will put his saleable value up but he's only 22. Mattock strange he hasn't signed a longer contract. Sure we aren't offering longer contracts to players who can't step up in the long term.

Mm good one. In regards purrington why would he want to be here when mattock gets picked every time. I think mattock is on his way so knowing our luck both will one on a free one for money. Which won't be a bad thing but we need decent replacement.
And from I read about a conversation a mm had with a player name withheld.
It seems the players had broken promises in regards players coming in and the pay scale is really bad.
Doesn't take much working out. Mattock 28 most we can offer is a 2yr contract. Purrington Warney made his decision last season, at the time right but now? Would say Purrington is worth close to a £1million. Same with the wingers can't offer them more than a 1 yr contract other than Williams. Hope Scotty thinks like me.
Mattock was our best player last season 3 year contract a must I can not understand the club faffing about get him signed show some intent for next season looks to me the rats are deserting thè sinking ship.
We've hada few good left backs over the years? Purrington though is average at best...L1 is his limit. My boy best not read this as Purrington went to his school and did the grassroots circuit round here!
Purrington never looked settled, never looked like he wanted to be here and never really impressed. If Charlton or anybody else want him and will pay money for him and we could recoup our investment, it would be best for all concerned. Personally I think Mattock improved a lot last season and has shown himself to be much the better player, and if we have extended his contract by a year as I think we have that will do for me.
Mattock had a very good season. Played better in the championship than in L1.
We had a lot of trouble getting a good left back and it can cause a lot of problems for the shape of a team. Mattock is everything a team would want really. We need his steady-eddie approach .
Purrington did impress me to begin with and I wondered if hed been given long enough. I liked how he held himself and looked around to join in and up the play. Ultimately he may have looked too slow and unwilling to bomb up the line in PWs team.
It is obvious Purrington does not want to be here try to sell him for what we paid for him from Plymouth use that money for a couple of decent loans we shan't miss him got to move on I can't see Charlton buying him they are skint this division we are in now is not that great nobody impressed me in div 1 play offs.
Joe Mattock will be first choice next season. Ben Purrington won’t want to come back to sit on the bench so the club might as well move him on.
Make sure we recoup the cash we paid for him.
At a push Robertson can cover left back if Mattock is injured or suspended.
The young lad Akeem Hinds needs to step up a level this season.
Mattock had a much better season but :- let’s too many crosses come in and is no faster than Purrington ! age says that Purrington has more to offer long time !
I think we are all guilty sometimes of assuming that players all want to play for our favourite club, because who wouldn't? I got the impression from his performances and noises coming out of the club that Purrington never settled and that his heart was never here. That could be wrong, but if it is right he probably isn't a realistic option even with a year left on his deal. The only value in his contract in that situation is that it might generate a fee for us. With Mattock, we can offer him a new deal if we want to and some would argue that we should but there is no guarantee that he would take it, particularly if he has an offer of Championship football and Championship wages on the table. It can't be easy being a manager.
We need to get a move on sort the Purrington situation out as with wingers Vaulks and Ajah it will drag the club down if not sorted our manager seems to have gone into his shell the way it is looking we will panic sell Vaulks and Ajah just before the end of the transfer deadline then be left with a few shabby loans to look at to quieþ for my liking.
It didnt work for Evans when he was there. The players they are signing now are replacing some of the players Evans himself brought in this time last year. He must have forgotten to turn off the revolving door on his way out. Getting the right players in is more important than getting players in early.
