Cardiff was difficult to swallow , but a newly promoted Premiership club?
Really? I wonder who writes this stuff and what represents enough of a grain of truth to publish.
The international call ups seem to have done a number on the jaded minds of managers and directors.
I love him as a player. He has all the attributes fans love, but a premier league player...

Vaulks adds bite and strength to Blades midfield as they pass 40 points in early April!
Will Vaulks stunning rise to stardom has seen him take the small Yorkshire outfit to premier league safety weighing in with 8 goals and the most assists in the bottom half of the table. At a cost of 10 million, it must be the most profitable snatch and grab in football history.
Following on from his 7th full international cap and 4 goals the canny and likeable lad from over the Boarder is now speculation of an approach from Liverpool. And why not? Some said the step to Rotherham was way to big and so it seemed under the devastatingly bad reign of Alan Stubbs , but despite being 'quite good' in a workmanlike team with zero money Cardiff paid a record 2.5 million for him but after 3 months the scot handed in a transfer request despite being a regular starter and scoring a hatrick ion his debut. Warnock , not one to stand on ceremony subsequently banned him from the dressing room and in a somewhat unusual show of mercy ( or was it disdain) let the starlet go.
Warnock since has reportedly had bog roll manufactured with the players face and placed in all away dressing rooms and sworn never to buy a scottish canny wee lad again.
I call it twitter b*ll*cks most of the roumers coming out. I Lv Vaulks but he's not a prem' player. Sounds like there's some truth in the Cardiff bid. Like these international call ups. None are for sides that will ever do anything. Williams should realise Barnsley released him last time they went into the championship. Better signing a new contract for us if he wants to play games in what should be a league 1 side up there next season.
gwru Chris Smalling & Phil Jones aren't Prem footballers but they're both England internationals & keep getting in ManUre's 1st team. I genuinely hope young Will gets a chance at Cardiff to continue his career in the Championship but if the Blades or Norwich come knocking why not?
It might be just me if he wants to go to pastures new go RUFC will survive and flourish how many times have we seen players leave and do nothing. Then there was ALF another was Barry Lyons who went to Notts Forrest who finished 2nd to Man Utd in the mid sixties just a couple I can remember who went on to do well + Mike Pollitt getting a bit bored with it
