A manager I noticed when he was in charge of S****horpe last time we were in league 1, played some good football. Got sacked there after a bad run that season but they were still in 5th place in the league. Look were S****horpe are now. Just wondering what happened to him just checked he's just got Salford city into the ELF. He's got 3 years left on his contract there. Seems to know what he is doing to me.

Salford will be in the Championship within the next six years. Some of the lesser lights in the Premier League will fade. It's now becoming an uneven playing field. Not that it's ever been a level playing field since the Premier League was formed.

I'm not trying to be clever here but I've always been the same I look for whether it be NH horses, Snooker players or Roth U players/managers on the way up. When a manager like Alexander who we could get comes along you've got to get in before he gets snapped up. Instead we stuck with Warney, good human being but not a winner not in the championship.

Let me just get this right gwru. Alexander was S****horpe manager until 24th Mar 2018, when he was sacked. We play them in the play offs less than two months later and beat them over two legs and go on and win the play offs. You then want to get rid of our manager who got us promoted for somebody who was sacked from the team we beat in the play offs. This is a wind up isn't it. Or is one of those where facts get in the way of a story to get at Warney.

I really haven't read so much utter drivel since I defected from MM & this forum started. I think I'll pass in future as the board seems to have been hijacked.

No wind up. I just get a hunch. I'm not usually far off. Bailey-King never got a chance while we've played a none winger for 3 seasons, Forde. JCH he's got his fitness back got to better than any striker we've got other than Smith. We beat S****horpe at home in October 2017 but went into thoughts that Alexander got them playing well, wasn't a comfortable win. You've got to think out the box. My opinion Warney will never be a championship manager. That's were we are aiming to be season 20/21 aren't we.

Absolute garbage. You can justify anything by saying it's a hunch. Alexander has never managed in the Championship but he has been sacked twice by League One clubs. Still embarrassing yourself with Bailey-King and banging on about JCH would be laughable if it hadn't got irritating a long time ago.

Alexander pass been sacked in the playoff places. With a fan base smaller than ours other reasons apart from run of form come.to mind. In regards jch yet again thought he was better than he was. League 1 player yes he may score against us next season. In regards Warne not his biggest fan but who knows what he could do with a proper budget
