Robertson won't play at Derby. Big blow with Vaulks still suspended, can't move Ajayi back to cover. Wood will have to play, not ideal. Take game to them. Williams time to come in.

Saying Vaulks won't walk straight back into the side. Whose he trying to kid. We were a midfielder short against Norwich, Ajayi & Wiles apart.
we may well have had one of our best displays last time out with no Vaulks and super Woody. Im repeating myself when I say there is no evidence that Woody is anything but an asset to the team when he plays. I think someone put the points total together when he has played and in line with my intuition and observation he comes out very well indeed in this respect. so, whatever his swagger, his delivery of hand to gun and finger to trigger is that of a seasoned gunslinger.
That pitiful argument aside it was Woody that had a blinder last season and got us promoted effectively. Anyway, apart from this he can in no way be singled out for mistakes over and above others. I think Wood is the ideal cover and since he is a pro through and through and has given so much to The Millers I wouldn't dare express my unwillingness to lead the line.
As for Vaulks what a great time he has had thus far. I know its a poor mans argument to repeat one but we didnt miss him against the most mobile team in the league....oh and Woody somehow managed to keep up with those tricky strikers, I suspect he was on drugs and had one of them Space X rockets and guidance controls to launch him each time and land him back exactly where he needed to be. Indeed, I heard an interview with Elon where he got the idea of reusable space wear from watching Woods career. Granted, Woody does not have a full strip down and refurb every time he plays, which makes him even more remarkable than the Heavy Falcon.
On to the Game: current form gives us slim chance. Coming away from Derby without a point is a grim thought, but one that may well be a reasonable expectation. It seems to me that we have to get something from every game. That's not going to happen so its going to winners in the last 8 that get the survivor over the line. This brings up one of the strongest doubts around PW.
Known until very recently for his cautious approach coupled with his reluctance to change things unless forced too and the need to force games and control them we could well be the odd team out. so far this policy has arguably kept us in with a chance of avoiding the preseason inevitable or been responsible for squandering a dozen winnable games.
Apparently, we have another striker available ...but its not the first time and apart from a handful of games the management trio have not been too tempted. In current football parlance, it is Mourinho Vs Ole Gunnar Solskjaer-wins Vs draws-attack Vs the preamble of an old married couple that turns out to be the climax. Warne may not be able to resist starting cautiously and responding to the fates as the game progressors. I for one hope he continues his recent behaviour and picks a formation and gives instructions to go out there and spank the spoiled brats good and hard.
He who dares wins
As that great Keeper (save-iour) and manger once said just before he went between the sticks for his greatest and Final test;
Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.
Mountain Move on over.

Ian. I disagree. If Robertson & Vaulks had played against Norwich we wouldn't have lost. Wood did more than most at Wembley to get us back in the championship but he's getting slower in thought & deed. Crooks was giving the ball away all the 1st half against Norwich. Hope Towell is more on his game after the break than two weeks ago.
It is right for Warne to send out the message that nobody is guaranteed a place. We won without Vaulks (and Robertson for that matter) at QPR and were excellent against Norwich. If we were to play really well and/or win at Derby neither Vaulks nor Robertson could reasonably expect to walk back in to the side.
I have stated my view on Vaulks I would not play him for the rest of the season to tackle a player in that way when he was running towards the players tunnel deserves everything he got. I don't buy into did well for Wales garbage he has raised his profile so he can get a better deal for himself when he goes in the summer hope he moves quickly so that we can sign a decent replacement.
Looks like Warney not going to give him his place back get Potter back better player if we go down so be it.
Vaulks should start against Forest. Potter a better player. Aye ok of course he is. Right age as well. On his way in summer probably like Will Vaulks unfortunately. All about opinions.
All sides at the bottom have tough games today. If we can squeeze 3 points out of today's encounter at Derby, it could blow the relegation battle wide open. Particularly with Birmingham losing last night. It's going to be difficult without Robertson, Mattock and Vaulks but if we can replicate the performances from the QPR and Norwich games, we've got every chance.
Think we will struggle today there is always hope got to hope other results go for us I honestly don't know where the the goals are going to come from.
Lack of goals are going to send us down.
