.. loose balls dropping to our players, a Ref that's not a total f**k up, and our shots and headers go in instead of hitting the post or missing by inches..
Another crunch game? How many crunch games is that this season? I've stopped counting. Every game is a must win game from now on. The team should be picking itself by now. That would be brilliant if we were on a long winning streak and free from injuries. Warney doesn't have many experienced squad players to choose from. I guess by now he's been headhunted by other clubs. Technically he's not the best in the game but I'm sure with sufficient financial resources he could be capable of making a fist of it elsewhere and competing with the best. Will Warney be with us in five years time? I would say, not in a million years. He'll be long gone. That's just my gut feeling. As for the team against Blackburn? Smudger, Rodak, Mattock and Ajayi should be first on the team sheet followed by Robertson, Taylor and Williams. Not sure who I would choose to add to that list to make up a starting eleven. There is at least one squad player whose confidence seems to have taken a nosedive. He has been a liability in the last few home games. For him, the only way is up.
As for predicting the score? 1-0 will do it for me.
John Brooks, who originates from Melton Mowbray, is the match referee.

Rodak Ajayi Robertson Mattock Vaulks Smith automatic choices. Vyner or Jones Towell Williams Taylor Newell Wiles Ihiekwe Crooks completes the squad good enough whose fit.
Would also agree about adding Towell, Crooks and Vaulks to my list of Smudger, Rodak, Mattock and Ajayi, Robertson, Taylor and Williams. Not sure about who to choose as the eleventh man. Perhaps Yates just behind Smudger for starters? Would it be too big a risk to bring on Wiles late on in the game? Surely, he must be chomping at the bit by now? He gets a regular mention on here. If he's good enough, play him. As for team formation? 4-4-1-1 to start.
Come on Warney! What have we got to lose? Well, apart from another game. It's sh!t or bust today. No excuses, no flimflam. We need to win convincingly and improve the goal difference.
Obviously Warney took my advice and brought Wiles on in the second half. It strengthened our hand in spades. Wiles needs to be nurtured and not used recklessly. He is an impact player who is able to turn a game to our advantage.
As for the silence on this board. Nowt new there then. It's par for the course. We win in style and there's nothing much to criticize.
Some were leaving the ground after the full time whistle with faces like slapped ar5e5. What's all that about?
Even the referee and his assistants had a good game.
Question is, have I been lulled into believing that we are now going to avoid the drop? No, not on your Aunt Nelly. We still have lots of ground to make up. We may have left it too late to have a triumphant run in to the finishing post. Stranger things have happened though.
Talking of horseracing and I digress here. I've been following one particular trainer on Twitter for a very long time. And no, it's not where twits twit each other or something of the like. In short, the trainer's horses are now running into form. Two or possibly three horses, what else, will be victorious at both Cheltenham and Aintree?
