How would you play it. Warney says Robbo's ankle has swelled up, Robertson but I'm hoping he is fit. Williams is back. Williams to me can only play on the Right. I'm going 4-4-2. If all fit Rodak; Vyner Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Williams Vaulks Towell Forde; Taylor Smith. Just think Vyner will get up & down better than Jones. Know I said I'd like a natural left winger but can't start with Newell. Williams & Forde are going to have to tuck in, fill the midfield up.

Vyner would be better off stacking shelves at Asda do not play him rest of the season I thought the defence was ok on Saturday if it ain't broke don't fix it. No chance at Hull we never get anything against them 3-0 To them.

As poor as Jones was on Saturday he's a safer option than Vyner but neither are good enough fo this level. Goes against the grain but we all want Wednesday to win tomorrow (and lose on Saturday!).

We have not won away in the second tier for 40 games. On a Tuesday night in the 2nd tier the last 25 away have yielded 4 draws and 21 losses. The last win on a Tuesday night away from home was in 2002. Hull have won their last 5 games at home. It must be time for a millers win then!
Warney believes Bowen and Grosicki are the best wingers in the league. They like to play 4.4.1.1. with Evandro or Irvine in the hole and Martin or Campbell up top. They play high up the pitch and have talented forwards. If we can get something tonight it will be some performance.
Robertson is a slight doubt and Wood played on Saturday, so it could mean Ajayi back at centre back. Williams is fit to play. I think we will go with 4.5.1. Williams in for Taylor, Ajayi back in defence to partner the fittest of Woods or Robertson and Wiles or Towell in Ajayis place in the midfield.
Rodak
Jones Ajayi Robertson Mattock.
Williams Wiles Vaulks Crooks Forde.
Smith.

A bit harsh on Wood if he is fit to play, but these Hull forwards are sharp and the pace of Ajayi at the back might be vital. I have also gone for Wiles instead of Towell, mainly because Wiles has more pace and Towell has looked well off it recently. I would take 0-0

Looking fwd to going, I've not been to the ground before.

I'd take a point now - but not really expecting anything - I'm hoping Saturday will be our season's turnaround, with 3 points against the Owls.

I'm looking fwd to both games.. UTM

whiston01 I'd go with your side apart from Crooks in midfield. Concerns me how he was running on empty so early in the game against Wigan. Towell in his place. One up front though? As I've already said 4-4-2. Omit Wiles from midfield with Taylor up front with Smith. Best form of defence is attach but as I've said Williams & Forde are going to have to be more like wide midfield players.

Your tactical genius is legendary. But only to be expected of someone who goes to home games, mean all.

I am a genius when spotting talent in most things. I've been on about Judd Trump well before I came on this site. You can see enough about Roth U in the home games to know their best players, formation. Get it right still think we will still be in the championship next season. Need luck with injuries but we are due abit. Stone wall penalty against Wigan that pull back on Robertson not even considered. Hope luck evens itself out ASAP. Watched 2 away games via the red button. Defeat at Villa. Draw at Middlesbora. Will be on the red button tonight so if it goes in sequence win at Hull tonight.

Looking forward to this one. Formation and selection - we have choices and I wouldn't like to predict it. I've a feeling that Towell will play just because he should be fresh and raring to go, but nothing would surprise me. I know Williams flits in and out of games and can sometimes frustrate but I think he gives us something extra so I hope he is fit and playing, or at least ready to make an impact off the bench.

Worst thing happened is that red button ìts like Chinese water torture. Can't see us getting anything tonight can anybody tell me where are the goals going to come from where was the last goal from our forwards. Predicting 3-0 To Hull into the bottom 3 we go no chance of coming out of it.Whats the point in stopping up with set up we have next season will be worse if we were to do it just prolonging the agony. Take our punishment regroup and start winning some games next season in div 1.

Gwru seems to have been sucked into the two upfront formation. On the 19th Jan he said we can't play two upfront but now seems to think its our best option. Not sure whats changed his mind. Surely not the return of Yates and believe me it didn't really work at Millwall. it was more about how bad they were. I think against a team like Hull it would be asking for trouble.
We are just about to set off. I don't really fancy us tonight but think its the usual game plan, stay in it as long as possible, frustrate and pick up the pieces from dead ball situations. Boring, but it might just get us something.

whiston01 4-4-2 cause Williams is back. He's our best runner with the ball out wide, got to be on the Right. He couldn't play wing back. Midfield he tries things that don't come off but out wide more likely to get away with it. Want to see Taylor up front with Smith. Taylor was a goalscorer before he came here. He's confident enough, doesn't let misses worry him. Thing is we are away so 4-5-1 might be the way to go. Save Taylor for the owls. Rodak; Jones Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Williams Wiles Vaulks Towell Forde; Smudger

What's the point in droning on about systems need the players first. We are not good enough to stop up no good the manager smiling for the cameras use the players who are going to put a shift in. If I remember when Warnock was here got his best players together sorted defence out and we started from there.

Gone back to the Millwall formation. Vyver for Jones could work. Agree with Towell for Crooks. UTM

Forde for Yates after 38 minutes, surrender stations, damage limitation, call it what you like, pathetic, embarrassing mess.
