Up for the L1 player of the month for January, did well for AFCW too. What did we do wrong?

He had chances with us and rarely put in a 6/10 performance or better as far as I could see, and he was playing in a winning side in League 1. For whatever reason he just didn't seem to settle although it was probably tough coming to us halfway through our disastrous season, and he also picked up the odd injury. I thought he lacked pace when up against Championship players. Its good to see him doing well and hopefully Charlton will want to sign him in the Summer and we can get a fee for him.

Didn’t settle with us and he’s nowhere near as good as Joe Mattock who’s having a very good season.

what a load of rubbish, at Portsmouth our first away win in nearly a year he was outstanding, he is big, strong and fast. Never had a run of games, let us remember that there have been a lot of games where mattock has been awful, mistake after mistake especially in League 1, but Warne is his friend and therefore stuck with him. Rotherham United is not a football club it is  Paul Warne humanity cult

Mattock has made mistakes like every other player, this season he’s been our most consistent player or one of them anyway.

Derby don’t let your gripe with Paul Warne get in the way of giving the players a little credit.

I've not always been Mattock's biggest admirer but this season he has been better than most. Purrington is quite big, that is true. Not sure about strong. He definitely isn't quick. Quite the opposite.

I think Paul Warne may have run over Derby's pet dog at some point in the past. I wouldn't be surprised to see Derby blaming Warne for the recent collapse of the US/Russia Strategic Arms Limitation Treaties.

Rumour mill states that the  player is 1.84 metres tall and over 30 years of age. Also there is an 'M' in the first name.

It's b*llocks. When was the last free agent we got even our own who was any good. They aren't free agents for nothing. Just escaping the fact we didn't sort it in the transfer window. Play Vaulks up front if anything happens to Smith.

Been training down at Roundwood. Stop.  Unless it was a ghost of course. Stop. Then again that's what we need, a player who can ghost into the box and score goals for us. Stop.  Player now gone back to Germany. Stop.

Paperwork not sorted out in time. Stop. Will return when do c u mentation is in place. Stop.

  End of message
