A few overlaps with smith should confuse the hell out of leeds and any dodgy breakdowns in attack will kindly rebound to one of the triumvirate who will be steaming forward with pride and passion.
Agree with you if we go with the side we had out against Brentford we'll get nil pts against Leeds.

No i think its a great time to be a miller. Punching above our weight, fighting for survival with a great set of lads giving there all. Not much debt and on Saturday we entertain one of our countries biggest clubs with a chance of winning. Leeds are in the top ten clubs in England with a history of being competitive in Europes elite competitions, yet come Saturday they could get turned over by us. Of course they are the favourites but i have a feeling this might be close. Its no use complaining about lack of recruits( I am one who has said we need new faces) we have a team spirit that will always give us a chance. Sometimes the football is not easy on the eye but how many twelve months ago would have said we would be out of the relegation places in the championship. Not many. Come on you mighty millers lets give Leeds a scare.

I reckon if 16 million 432 thousand and 17 ,did the same we could launch an effective takeover and be in the premiership within 3 seasons. we would need a committee however to try and sort out the lads and lasses who run the food tills...hmmmm, maybe we should just scrap em and promote picnics on the pitch at half time. Its going to be a hard slog to get a respectable result and their overloading tactics when attacking will see them find all the holes in our defence and plenty of chances.
Playing 451 brings them onto us too and I get why we cant play two up top but it will hurt us on Saturday.

We are playing Leeds, in the Championship, infront of a full house.
It really would not take too much to make this team stay in the league and have similar fixtures for at least a few seasons... but we see too little risk being taken, in a business sense... to get just the two or three players we need...

Problem being Vaulks is the only holding midfield player we have so he's got to stop there. Still sooner have Vyner then Jones. If fit injured players from last week assuming we don't sign anyone going Rodak; Vyner Ajayi Robertson Mattock; Forde Crooks Vaulks Towell Yates; Smith
He can be but putting vaulks right back seems wasteful and too radical. We don't know how good crooks is and we do know we have the best player in the team in the middle of the park. Vaulks does a tremendous defensive job exactly where he is.
I think it's the attack we need to improve not the defence... Priority
With respect Ian, have a look how many times we have let two or more goals in at home. Hull - 3. WBA - 4. QPR - 2. Sheff Utd - 2. Brentford - 4. Stoke - 2. There may be others. They are off the top of my head. All but WBA, scored twice ourselves yet failed to win. Our defensive frailties are costing us just as much as our inability to score more goals. As a rule we do score at home and if we keep a clean sheet at home or concede only one, we tend to win.
