Canaries are bidding 1.5 million for Vaulks and Ajaih anybody know if there's any truth in the rumour. No players coming in only outgoings what's happening at the NYS. After last Sunday's debacle should have set alarm bells ringing surely we have learned our lesson from the last time we were in this division. I think it will be a 2-0 defeat at Ipswich can't see us stopping up if we carry on like this.

Hamshaw says Newell won't play at Ipswich. Proctor looks like being out for a while. Amazed we haven't got a midfielder & left winger in

I'm inclined to agree with TH Miller. It doesn't look as though we'll sign anyone this week ( I could be wrong) & we look like we may take a pasting at Portman Road. I've often wondered what our head of recruitment actually does to justify his/her existence.

gwru why are you amazed? This is Rotherham United, we don't sign anyone in January. It's a remarkable state of events when we can't even muster seven substitutes for an FA Cup tie at the Ethiad.

Proctor sounds like he could be out for the season or worse. Says Towell is back so midfield will be ok. It's just left wing. If we could get one player in would be in that position.

I think Towell got a three match ban for a straight red so he has another game to sit out. If Newell is not fit then i am very worried about who we have available. I would doubt Newell has been fully fit all season.
All this could mean we start with a side something like this
Rodak.
Vyner Ajayi Robertson Mattock

Forde Vaulks Wiles Taylor

Williams

Smith
The other option is to play Ajayi in midfield, bring in Raggett at the back and put Forde on the bench with Williams out wide. Not a strong formation whichever we pick. we have to get somebody in but its looking less and less likely.

Says on Sheffield star sport that Towell is in the squad travelling down to Ipswich but as you say whiston01 he has a 3 match ban. Not liking our options at all. Forde & Taylor playing with Williams in midfield it's never worked all season. As I've said need a midfielder & left winger in for Saturday. If not Rodak; Vyner Raggett Robertson Mattock; Williams Wiles Ajayi Vaulks Yates; Smudger

I am amazed we haven't signed anyone this week it does not fill you with confidence for the rest of the season. No proper updates from the club ònly signing so far has been Wiles only hope is we are that long overdue an away win will it come on Saturday. That's the main problem only one striker fit apart from Yeats if Smith gets injured or sent off we are up Brexit creek without a Brexit paddle.

There won't be any signings TH. We won't pay above Lge 1 wages. I am convinced the lady that runs the finances of this organisation is determined to ensure the football club runs at a profit,whatever division it's in and next season almost certainly in lge 1. And that means selling the assets not spending to improve the side.
