Out of contract players end of this season

Who would you keep. I'm thinking championship next season.

Definitely offer new contracts to Mattock Vaulks Williams. Got to keep one winger out of the other 3, that would be Newell.

All players we have out on loan are there cause they are not in the managers plans. I personally would have Dom Ball back in January, see if he's good enough. Richard Wood can't play much longer at this level. Not knocking him he's been good for this club but players can't go on forever.

Players still here Potter Forde Taylor can go.

I generally agree but I still feel Taylor offers something & I'd keep him. He was excellent in the recent Blades game & if he could perform like that more consistently he should be kept but it's all about opinions eh? Completely agree regarding Potter & Forde though.

Price,Wood,Smith,Proctor,Robertson,Purrington,Ajayi,Palmer,Yates,Jones,Vassell all have contracts up to 2020 and some beyond that date
The others have contracts that expire next summer. Of those i would look to give Mattock,Vaulks,Williams.Bilboe, Hinds and wiles new contracts. I would not offer contracts to David Ball, Potter, Bray , Onarise and ihekwe. Dominic ball hasnt featured at all so he will not be offered anything. I am with gwru, i would have liked to have seen what he could do but as i have said before i do not think he fits the good person model.
Decisions have to be made about Newell, Taylor and Forde. I would offer Forde another year and hold on making a decision on Newell to see if his form improves in the second half of the season. Taylor, as said before, i would try and sell him in January along with Palmer providing replacements are found.

whiston01 agree with all that. Didn't know the contract situation with Hinds & Wiles. Both without doubt get their contracts extended. Taylor & Palmer can go in January. It's a business, both surplus. Make decisions on Forde & Newell end of the season.

Dom Ball he's our player, just think we need 4 centre backs to call on good enough now. Richard Wood we look short of pace at the back when he plays. Warney knows what's needed. He'll have his way of moving players on. Right back, midfielder & Left winger needed who can come straight in to the 1st 11.

Sadly, I personally don’t think we will have a choice in signing Newell?

He has not been given one full game this season, how can you even get match fit coming off the bench or being subbed all the time? And this is after finishing last season as the top scorer (After KM) with the most assists.......I know I'd be majorly Peed off if I were him!

Some players are given 3 or 4 games to find, or regain their form, Joe gets between 30 - 60 minutes to set the world alight or he gets the hook!

We have done well this season and I for one am pleased (or should that be relieved?), after the last Championship campaign but, like it or not, we are potentially drawing our way back to League 1 and are crying out for that little extra bit of quality, which in my opinion, is sitting there, usually on the bench.

I would try and keep most of the other guys on the Summer exit list (Forde/Taylor/Palmer etc), unfortunately, it will be harder to keep the likes of Vaulks as his stock rises unless we remain in the Championship.

We have good players at the club, and dependant on the league we are in next season, very good players.

Comes down to me if you are good enough for this level. whiston01 is saying we are playing Forde away from home to give cover to Vyner. That's ok while January. Solution to that is send Vyner back & get a Right back in good enough then we don't need Forde cause he can't do the job he's paid to do that's a winger. Taylor is the same never been a winger at this level. One good game against Sheff U isn't enough. Palmer isn't good enough full stop.

I think it may have a bit to do with the style of play adopted this year rather than "this player" or "that player" is not good enough?

There are no poor players at the club, given three, four or five games to get 100% match fit, most of the guys 'out on the fringes' would probably hold down a shirt.

The issue we have to solve is the gap that the loans if they are recalled can be filled with perm instead Hopefully towell can be signed if we stay up

When I have a bet on a horse I don't think it could win. More like it should win. Don't we want the same for our club.

It's the same criteria. Horseracing & football. You are putting money down with the intention of getting back the best return. I'm probably more in front with Roth U for what I'm getting. A few tweaks in January & I'll be well in front. The return: Roth U is what we see on the pitch. We're not far away from having the best side we've had for years.

Yesterday proved Forde & Taylor can go in January. Add Palmer to that list. We need a Right back so unless Jones moves on Vyner will have to be sent back. As I've said if Manning can't get in this side no point him being here. Wood if he wants to carry on playing will have to move on & step down a league or two. There's only Dom Ball good enough to bring back. I don't get this they've got to be good human beings. I don't mind abit of attitude as long as you aren't braking the law or a troublecauser. I've got an attitude. I think I'm the best horseracing tipster going, know my stuff about Roth U.

It's amazing we are were we are in the league with our threadbare squad. Can't stop up with this squad. Get it sorted for the Ipswich game away in January. Right back Midfielder Left winger & Striker required. Don't know about Centre backs. Don't know if Raggett is near fitness or he's had a setback cause at the moment we only have Ajayi & Robertson good enough.
