Indeed Glenn. Its a lot of pressure and it was a flawless and moving performance. I'm just a bit perturbed about how long things last these days. I think its possible now to have a Halloween party (when was that a thing anyway?), do your Christmas shopping, attend a bonfire/fireworks event, remember those who have fallen in battle and have a late summer break in the same weekend.
I enjoyed watching Swansea too Glenn. They were superb apart from a lack of clinical finishing and the touch of arrogance they brought with them which made the comeback win all the more enjoyable. I didn't realise the soloist was a youngster. If that was the case, all the more praise is deserved.
I didn’t attend the match but from viewing extended highlights have just watched a snippet of the Last Post being sounded. Beautifully played and very poignant. But who is the gormless photographer who thought it was appropriate to walk through proceedings whilst it was being sounded? ****!
We showed the massives of Sheffield how it was done last week. Couldn't hear the bugler last night for the noise the crowd was making. Was a full minutes silence observed?
