if a player who made the mistake of thinking he was going to better things than us and finds out ooooppps then ben pringle has to be one went to fulham then preston then on loan to oldham and now grimsby really rated him and we missed his left foot __________________ HM

I was always a big fan of his. still looked good when we saw him play for Preston against us. Not sure if he's still playing at the level he was when we had him, if he is, if Grimsby can afford him so can we surely.... __________________

I was never a big fan of Ben Pringle. He has never really cut it in The Championship, struggling to get games at any of Derby, Fulham and Preston when he was in that league. A lack of strength and pace is where I think he falls short at that level. I would acknowledge though that he played a significant part in our promotions under Evans, and I am surprised to see him dropping into League Two. I think he is a fair to middling League One standard player.
