Was well attended, players admirably spent 90 mins signing into the 1000's autographs on various memorabilia and taking photos. We were in the last of the line too and while any sane person would have been thoroughly sick of it by then (especially after a training session as well), were all still jovial and in good spirits.
It really struck me though how 90% of our players are just level headed kids!
Well done though club and players, many awe struck and delighted kids (inlcuding my own).
Glad to read the club still offers such a fantastic opportunity.
I have been to just one open day and that was when Jim McAnearney was manager. He was a very friendly and warm host. I was suitably awe struck looking behind the scenes and watching the players training in the new gym. I recall at the end of the week the players would finish training with a little competition. The winners sharing an apple pie.
