Derby County and Rotherham United are lining up beat-the-deadline moves for S c u n thorpe United winger Duane Holmes, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
The 23-year-old is in the final year of his contract at S C u nthorpe and the Iron are bracing themselves for interest before the transfer window closes.
Derby are considering a move for Holmes as Rams boss Frank Lampard looks to add to his attacking options at Pride Park.
Mmmm. Wonder which club Holmes will plump for?

One man who won't be at the Rams next season is forward Matej Vydra - he completed his expected departure from the club last night as he joined Burnley.
Frank Lampard’s side are also expected to sign Martyn Waghorn, who scored 16 goals for Ipswich Town last season, and Burnley outcast Nahki Wells.
However, today there's no mention of Duane Holmes being linked to Derby County.
I wonder if we are still looking to bring Holmes in before the window closes?
Duane Holmes is one player I don't mind being repetitive about. Go get him Tone. We want a min' of two players for Saturday. Crooks & Holmes would do. Who you going to get on loan kids from the prem' who've never kicked a ball in a league game. We've had them, they are only using us as a stepping stone. We can only get 2 loans anyway. To go with the 3 we have. You can only have 5 loan players in your matchday squad unless you aren't going to include one of the loans if you are bringing more in which is then defeating the object.
