Rotherham United are set to make a move for Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty, according to the Yorkshire Post.

The Millers are hoping to get some signings over the line before the transfer window shuts and have targeted a move for the 21-year-old. 

Meanwhile a Sun on Sunday report 

suggests Rangers' Greg Docherty's heading to Shrewsbury on loan.

Someone's got the correct story. Or maybe not.

bilge is. Definition Nonsense Rubbish. Example given " romantic bilge dreamed up by journalists " That's the example given.

Shrewsbury Town have now completed the loan signing of Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty.
Boss John Askey was keen on bolstering his midfield ranks after Jon Nolan's departure to Ipswich was today confirmed. Docherty is described as an energetic box-to-box midfielder.



Don't think we were really interested in Docherty.

Assuming we did want him, and assuming it was down to money and not the players' choice, it's a sad day when we can't compete on the terms of a deal with the likes of Shrewsbury.....

There are very many possible reasons why he went to Shrewsbury and didn't come to us. That they could simply afford to pay more than us is one of them, but probably among the least likely.
