no play maker to make that cutting pass and our second striker fails to find the net which are problems i think southgate will fix come 2020

but saying that very proud of the england team they excelled and like our team became a band of brothers not afflicted with clic's like they was before

Every team should have a play maker who is able to thread a ball through to an advancing teammate. Every team should have at least two players who can get a boot over the top of a ball and strike it true in the direction of goal. How many times have we seen strikers getting a boot under the ball and loft it skyward well wide of goal? Aren't players supposed to practice ball control in the first place? Pass, pass, pass and shoot? As for heading the ball. On contact with the head, the ball can be deflected from the forehead only in the direction of where the player is looking. Some players don't have the composure to transfer the above skills from the training ground to the actual field of play. Teaching granny to suck eggs perhaps. We need to ask ourselves. Do we have these type of players at our disposal for the forthcoming Championship season?

There's more hope than after the Euro's 2016 but we fell short. Pickford Stones Maguire Trippier Kane rebuild the side round them. Got to find a natural left sided player. As I've said got to find the next Bryan Robson/Gazza & strikers who do what they are picked for. I was disappointed in Lingard Deli Alli Rashford cause I expected them to be better. Wasn't disappointed with Sterling cause along with others he's never been good enough in an England shirt.
