All I see is the BBC discussing his visit with people from London. Most everything we see and hear from the BBC is London centric. Even the discussions around Brexit appears to exclude people from the rest of the country. I also think that the blimp being hoisted above the streets of London is a freaking disgrace. For anyone who doesn't already know, the blimp is supposed to represent Trump as a baby in a napkin holding a mobile phone. What would people think/do if such a blimp of our Gracious Queen was hoisted above a city? The Mayor of London has let himself down very badly for allowing the Trump blimp to be floated above his city.
Tens of thousands of people marching through Central London on Friday the 13th protesting against the Trump visit to the UK.
Really? Computer generated images of large swathes of people marching through the streets of Central London shown on national television? There were just a few hundred people in Westminster when the Trump inflatable was hoisted aloft.
It was reported that up to 8,000 police officers were borrowed from other forces across the UK to ensure Trump had a safe visit to the UK. They certainly weren't many in Westminster involved in controlling the tens of thousands of alleged protestors.
Trump wasn't even going to go anywhere near Central London! He was visiting a small house in Buckinghamshire and then a large pad in Windsor to have tea with our Gracious Queen.
Friday the 13th 2018 wasn't even a Bank Holiday. Schools were still open across the country. It was business as usual across the country. What did the protestors do with their children yesterday ? Take them out of school for the day? Oh, and there were no reported disruptions in Central London either.
It was a great day for the UK Government to bury bad news. Well done to them and the Bullshine Broadcasting Corporation.
