HURST TO IPSWICH - WHAT NOW FOR JOSH

Now that Paul Hurst has taken the reins at Ipswich, I wonder if our chances of retaining Josh Emmanuel have improved or decreased?  After his performance at Wembley on Sunday, I can only imagine that PH would have been impressed and might not be inclined to let him go to a Championship rival?

Hurstie also has ex Millers Grant Ward and Tom Adeyemi in his squad. Ward played the majority of games last season but Adeyemi was only a bit part player. I wouldn't mind either one returning - particularly if Adeyemi is fit, which he wasn't for the majority of his loan to us.

Little chance of getting Emmanuel now or Grant Ward. Adeyemi is like Danny Ward, how many games would you get out of them in a season? Our major signings need to be injury free.

I would deffo be ok with Emmanuel but at same time Like to think we should aim higher and there must be even better players we can nab out there.

Don't think Ipswich supporters realise they are getting a McCarthy clone !

we need new players and new faces

just because a player was good for us on loan one season doesn't mean he will be the same on a revisit

grant ward hasn't exactly ripped the turf up at Ipswich to my knowledge

I'd have Grant Ward back before Emmanuel. Unlikely either to happen. Grant Ward worked with us in the championship, hasn't worked for him at Ipswich.
