What a season! What a game! Absolutely breathtaking performances from the players especially today at Wembley. Granny Martha is ecstatic. She kept changing her mind as to the Man of the Match. She's even broke out the sherry bottle.

What now for Richard Wood and Paul Warne …………Oh ye doubting Thomas'
What a turn around from last season, absolutely fantastic. Didn't want Warne as manager, even HE didn't want to be manager, theres a few Millers tonight with egg on their faces, me included and happy for it. Next time I shall have to stick my head into a bucket of piranha fish.
Warney picked what he thought was his best 11. That didn't include Palmer. Get in touch with Warney not me tell him he was wrong. When push came to shove Warney picked his best two midfield players. Was he right? Can't see many telling you he was wrong. Though I admit Ball didn't make that much difference.
You'd be a psychiatrists dream T71, such is your desperation to be proved right at every opportunity.
We might have won 5-0 if all the subs had started in place of five who did. Or lost 5-0. We will never know. The key thing - and it has helped us all season - is that we have good depth in the squad, particularly across midfield. It has helped Warne keep things fresh and play in different formations when he thought he needed to. There have been no rumblings about players being unhappy to be left out. It was noticeable how all the unused subs were as thrilled as the people who played today. Real togetherness.
Maybe all that running round cones and drinking tea works, eh?
The point is he picked the formation and team today that he thought could win today. That wasn't the same people and formation that got us past Scunny. Good management! And we won!
They were all magnificent today. We outplayed a good team. No need to borrow a hairdryer. No histrionics. Just a great team effort and a fantastic day. Proud to be a Miller.
Don't think any neutral will be in any doubt whatsoever who the better team was, and we totally deserved to win that. Although I thought it might not be our day when that pen was missed, it wasn't even a good pen. Ball and Taylor were largely inefective, Towell was quiet, Vaulks had spells of energy then being ghosted, Mattock was meh. However the other 3 at the back were immense. It was Woody's day, got the pen, saw that immediately even though it was off the ball, scored a cracking header then, when you need a bit of luck sneaked round the back and that half connection spun in and hit the right side of the post. We should have been out of sight though without extra time, Lavery should never miss that at this level. Ryan Williams changed it for me. We were being rattled at that point after they equalised and he put us back on the front foot.
Not taking owt away from the lads or Warney they've all contributed to what IS Rotherham United's greatest promotion when it's all put into context. Im massive proud of Woody and Warney and they deserve their success.
