If it was a level playing field...

out of the top sides in the premiership who would you say is the top manager. Me I'd go for Conte. Pep. Clippity & Jose have the financial clout at the moment but I'd like to see them start on level terms. At the moment it's like a handicap. Thoughts

So Chelsea have spent little money. And Klipp Klipp has spent a fortune eh? Chelsea spent £220 million last (this?) season, and all they got back was a few bob for Diego Costa. Liverpool bought Salah, Van Dijk and Oxlade-Chamberlain, but they got more than that by selling Coutinho and Sakho, and made a modest profit in their transfer dealings. Thoughts on that?

Jury is out on Van Dijk, the Ox is simply another over inflated British player price. They got mega lucky with Salah, well I say lucky, you still gotta take a chance no matter how good at talent spotting the scouting network is, plus all the additional change of culture blah blah. But he has been nothing short of a sensational, this season anyway. If he keeps it up Liverpool won't be able to keep hold of him when his price acquisition fee trebles / quadruples if it hasn't already. Be some nice bonuses handed around that's for sure.

My thoughts are that you are absolutely right TC.  Chelsea's gross and net spend massively exceeded Liverpool's.  But never let the facts get in the way of a good opinion!

No mention either of Pochetitno in the O/P.  Tottenham are definitely one of the top sides in the Premier League, and he is doing as good a job as any of the others.

Roman Abramovich hasn't got a UK visa. He is presently residing in Russia. He didn't attend the FA Cup Final to watch his team play. Let's see how that plays out in the next few days.

Best Manager if it were a level playing field that Id say Jose.

with Money Id say Pep.

Im imaging a group of adults with no back ground or pedigree that turn up to play football-a bit like "Im a football team get me out of here"

Agree Pochetitno can't fault him but he hasn't won anything yet. Just rate Conte, he might have had spent more then Liverpool last season but you don't always get it right. Pep I just don't like, he wasn't smiling last season & Jose don't know how he got another top job in this country after everything that happened in his last season as manager of Chelsea.
