Scunny 2nd leg thoughts

Just got back. We got through that's all that matters. 2nd half was better. Ihiewke had to go off. Have we got a formula for Wembley. Don't think that was good enough to beat Shrewsbury. Thoughts

FFS not even any celebration just straight into knocking the team. Of course we can beat bloody Shrewsbury, it's Shrewsbury not Sevilla, and I saw us away against them and we dominated them for 90 minutes.

Just think we need to be smarter with game management. At 2-0 and against 10 men, just keep it simple in possession, instead of lumping it to Smithy so it might come straight back. I thought it was a brave call to take Iky off but the right one. Can't help but feel luck was smiling on us tonight. Scunny spurned some really great chances and we really didn't help ourselves on a few occassions with individual mistakes.

But it matters not, the players really put it in. The final will be a real touch and go affair. Please not penatlies again though!

Just happy to win it. Thats all that really matters. We weren't great but so what? it was another fantastic NYS night. How about we just enjoy it? We have already beaten Shrewsbury once so of course we can beat them again.

Not criticizing. Want us in the championship next season. Ihiewke has lost all confidence, manager had to bring him off. Enjoy tonight, I am. Can't change much but more needed at Wembley.

Palmer caught too many times again but all team suffered from nervous tension and poor old athickwee - cistitus to his mates has blown it but praises to management to haul him off before he cost us again. He deserved to go - good luck to him but NO - and some actually believe he could play in championship !

Game management in latter stages is complete madness - Smith in corner of pitch should take it to the corner flag and shield the ball....what did he do....play on and crossed it to no one which resulted in another Scunny attack.

Not a fan but Wood was imense.

And please please please Fulham for promotion because WE NEED KODAK IN GOAL. THE "SNAPSHOT" KING !

WELL DONE IN THE END - WE PLAYED FOOTBALL IN LAST 15 MINUTES - IN PLACES.

So pleased.

Boys obvioudly did enough. Scunny were v good first 35 min. Closed us down at real pace and had 2-3 men in contention for every lose ball. We were confind to long balls .
They had at least as many chances .
He had to leave. 10 minutes he was gone. Appreciate the personal decision but I would have subbed him after 20 minutes. He was that bad. So very bad. Almost cost us the game tonight too. He may need help after these 2 legs and he has certainly blown his wembley selection.

Woods MOM
Few others did great.
Others really a yard or 2 shy. Rodak immense.

Great to have such a wonderful club again. Proud

Well done management team.

Now get on and get it as tuned as possible for a great test. Going in as underdogs but .

Enjoying this for several days .

I will then think about Shrewsbury .

Proud proud proud

thought rodak played his best match to date

s****horpe settled quicker than us and came at us closing us down trying to get the early goal. they kept the ball and had the luck as it always seem to find a scunny player.

warne was constantly giving the calm down signal.

we got back into the game and imo opinion for the 2nd half we were the better team

ithiekwe looked like the two mistakes he made on Saturday waS still on his mind and making him nervy and starting to panic. right decision by warne to sub him

Palmer had bad spells and good spells but got better when ajayi came on just don't understand what certain people have it in for him for. he was playing a difficult role helping our leaky mistake prone defense

and i believe he will be better than smallwood going forward in both sense of the word

i do think though that smith plays better with 2 up front .

but it was a crazy tense night loved it the noise the atmosphere was what it should be and continue to be

wembley here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tony need to start printing money
