Crowd could be a major factor at Wembley - after we've beaten Scunny on Wednesday of course. Shrews took just over 11,000 to the Checkatrade final against Lincoln recently. Assuming they'll take the same to the play off final, I think we would be in the majority. Anyone remember how many we took to the Orient final?
Hurstie's boys v Warnie's boys - that'll be manna from heaven for some of our MB posters!!
This is the Final ( if we get through ) I thought would happen and fancy. I think the top two should both play it out and obviously deserve it through the season.
Of course I support the play offs whenever it suits .

Either way deserved
Sorry Ian I have to disagree. Shrewsbury kicked lumps out of Charlton in the first half. Carlton Morris should have been sent off for elbowing early in the first half instead of staying on and scoring what turned out to be the winning goal. And Charlton had a clear penalty turned down. The result could have been very different if the referee had gone to Specsavers
I am pleased that Shrewsbury beat Charlton. Whatever the merits over those two games (I didn't see either) there can be no arguments if Shrewsbury go up that they have deserve it on the basis of 46 league games. And Charlton are still in the hands of the Belgian owners who deserve little or nothing for the way they have run that fine club.
I think Shrewsbury are beatable and if we got there it would be a proper 50/50 match up. If that does turn out to be the final, I wouldn't begrudge them if they won it although I am sure we would give them a real run for their money.
Auto Windscreen Trophy Final 1996 Millers took 20,000 Shrewsbury took 18,000 supporters. I wonder if we can top that?
Of course we need to beat Scunny first.
I recall it as being 30000 Millers and 10000 of their lot. It was all red and white on Wembley Way before the game.
I drove down with my two lads and like an idiot followed some coaches up the slip road at junction two, realised my mistake and turned around after three or four miles, little knowing that you can only go north from junction two. So there were 29997 going south towards Wembley, and three, with scarves and shirts hanging out of the windows, going north.
What a great day out though. Was back in The Stag for 9.00.
