Dom Ball

Just looked on MM said he's playing well. What's the real reason we didn't get him back in January? Warney couldn't handle a player whose not into the Warney tea drinking running round cones philosophy or was it the wages fee we've waisted on Palmer? In this league Dom Ball could have played holding midfield.

The "Not a PW player" function is controlled via a spreadsheet....££££

That's bad but if PW can't handle good players and get the best out of players notably better than he was....where do we go as a club ?

The "Freeby" may have cost us promotion but fingers crossed eh....

You message in hieroglyphics to me but we are on the same page. Where's the logic in false economy. Dom Ball is our player. What do we do sign a player Burton who to me are a smaller club didn't want.

Are you two sat in the same room trying to outdo each other with who can come up with the most ridiculous post - or more likely, how many bites you can get from your trolling?

Dom Ball - absolute liability at NYS and has done nothing since to prove otherwise. Rotherham's strength in depth - significant for a League One side - we have game changers on the bench and a manager who knows how to deploy them.

Warney's boys. Where do you get off on this tosh? A new manager who has taken us to 4th in the League and a win away from Wembley. An inexperienced manager who has turned the shambles left by AS and KJ and turned us into an efficient and effective unit.

You claim to be genuine supporters but I imagine that you're frothing at the mouth in anticipation of us losing on Wednesday so that you can role out your anti-Warne, told you so diatribe! Try a bit of encouragement from time to time - you'll find it refreshing!

Genuine as they come Roth U supporter here. I'll prove what I put into this club to anybody.

Dom Ball along with Vaulks & Fisher were Stubbs best signings. Problem with Dom Ball was who he was paired with at centre back. Wilson was crocked, Fry was a kid not ready. Dom Ball went because of two reasons. Either he didn't fit into Warney's boys or what I feel was the real reason he was one of the top earners.

T71 - can you please define Warney's boys? Are you suggesting that our manager picks players because he 'likes' them? Do you think that he would rather put out a weaker side than have someone in the side that he doesn't 'like'? Please, please explain.

Stubbs signings - Fisher - spent the majority of his time at NYS on his backside blaming everyone around him when he ****ed up. Dom Ball - played in the back four - disaster. Appreciate the players around him weren't great but a decent player would have shone. He also played in midfield and looked like he had never played professional football before. Vaulks - loved by RUFC supporters for his commitment and effort. But he is not an accomplished midfielder - his best position is back four. He has time to develop but will struggle in the Championship. So, for Mr Stubbs, 3 out of 10 for his recruitment - and we haven't mentioned the rest of the dross he brought in!

I'll bet my conker collection was still the best in the world when I was younger. I can prove it. I've still got the photographic evidence. They was huge I tell ya.

Not started yet, Glenn. I thought some of the banter was getting a bit comical on here. T71 says that he can prove what he puts into the club when challenged about his support for The Millers. I reckon there are a huge number of stakeholders involved with our club.

He was rubbish and we did right to move him out. Apparently did ok at Peterborough until he ****ed them off. In Scotland where many sub standard players end up.

Just to answer a few points. I'm just a normal fan. Season ticket holder but go to all home games involving the 1st team squad including friendly's checkatrade went to both home games Man C & Chesterfield Cup games while we lasted. In Millers mayday.

Warney's boys: worked so far but now we've got to go ability.

Fisher I admit didn't want to play for us but he must be a half decent player, he's playing regular for Preston. Dom Ball think he's one of the players Warney mentioned a high earner he wanted off the wage bill. Can't be no worse than the centre backs we have now.

Palmer be a low earner. To me a midfielder has got to able to either defend or be able to get forward, chip in with a few goals. Palmer can't tackle to safe his life, doesn't seem to have an engine. Never gets forward.

T71 - still haven't addressed the question. Define Warney's Boys. Palmer - our midfield, with Palmer and Towell together, has never looked as accomplished for years - particularly at NYS! Now, can we have a response to that question please?

Palmer is a playmaker and reads the game well - he's not there to put in crunching tackles. Man Utd had Roy Keene for that and Scholes for the passing. We can't have a battling midfield that has no vision. He wasn't at his best Saturday but he will shine on Wednesday.

Difine Warney's boys. Work within his moral code. Can't have a attitude or appear to be prima donna's. But now we need ability, with that you've got to deal with players with attitude.

Said this before can't believe anybody saying with Towell & Palmer in midfield we haven't looked so accomplished in years. Those two on there own together will not work. Whose going to put the tackle in. Towell is the better player so gets the shirt everytime. But I've noticed Towell gets taken off leaving Palmer on. Even Towell didn't look happy being taken off Saturday cause players know whose contributing more. That strikes me of Warney's boys. Palmer is one but not got the ability to go with it.

I just want professionalism and good quality players throughout the club - top to bottom. No matter what happens we will have a rookie management group. And some say 10 years of the same would be good. Yeah - ok but what's driving improvement ?

The inner conflict of a manager wanting more funds for better players - and the chairman wanting bigger and better for the club.

All is well and comfortable within the dressing room - managerialy - and a happy boardroom. But what is driving progress - the cheap as chips defenders are biting us in the bum now - we should be 2-0 up....this has been the case all season....who pays...the supporters - unless your satisfied with what you see.

we all want a good quality players . at the end of the day as fans we can make our opinions felt and Stewart has hopefully learned his lesson

i think we will spend moderately and build from there

on the shopping list has to be a 2 central defenders a right back or 2

and 2 strikers champion ship proven wont be cheap

i think we will be signing lavery and 2 others from the blades according to blades fan in the know.he has said we have been in touch about lavery and henighan

"Those two on there own together" - give us a break T71 - no wonder people have difficulty understanding your perspective!

We'll agree to differ - but if you can't believe my statement, imagine what my reaction is to your suggestion that you would prefer to see Wiles play on Wednesday instead of Palmer?!

I saw more in Wiles in one appearance than I've ever seen from Palmer. Same as Bailey-King & Dom Ball should have been brought back in January. Now we're scratching for centre backs good enough. No right winger good enough so only option is Forde cause at least he'll chase back.

As I said, we should agree to disagree - on everything in your last post.
