Is he injured, being rested or could it be something else?
Pre-match interview with Warne before Wigan game, there was no mention of Joe Newell.
Newell's three year contract expires at the end of this season.
We have an option to extend his contract by a further 12 months, which means he couldn’t leave for free in the summer
even if no fresh deal is agreed.
Have I missed something in all that?
