Same team as usual but drop Forde for Taylor. If Newell isn't making any headway then get him off on the hour and Williams on. This team won 8 on the bounce so we should freshen it up not break it up imo.
I see your points but 3 5 2 formation is the one that has beat us in Rochdale match as they didn't let us play it from midfield Mk played it over the midfield I believe
I do think ajayi needs resting forde has had a bad couple of games
Taylor and Newell needs to start Williams as a sub can cover both wings
yates alas is not the answer when chasing a game like
Jch was not the answer no matter what some think he was either not bothered or happy here..

I pretty much agree with that. We should avoid throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Palmer deserves his chance. The last three or four games have passed Vaulks by. We have good wingers ready to come in and Forde hasn't done enough in the last couple of games to keep his place.
Is it the following week internationals? Vaulks is going to have to play Right back. Only problem with that don't think either Towell or Palmer can do his job in midfield. I'd be looking at 3-5-2 Rodak; Ihiewke Ajayi Wood; Forde Palmer Vaulks Towell Mattock; Smith Taylor. Just hope we can limp into the play-offs. Get Proctor back in a months time ready for the play-offs.

I can't see us changing our formation or the way we try to play this far into the season. More likely we will stick broadly to what has got us up to fourth, but just try to do it better than we have in the last three games.
Whatever Vaulks' job is, he hasn't been doing it lately. He looks either slightly injured or lethargic. We need someone in there who can keep the ball moving and who is comfortable enough with the ball and brave enough to be available for the ball and keep us ticking over. I get that you need battlers and people to do the 'dirty' stuff as well, but Vaulks hasn't been doing that lately either.
I don't think Emmanuel has done a lot wrong to be honest.
The players and staff must be really hurting after the last couple of results (obviously add us supporters to that list!), so, I would hope for a much improved performance Saturday and a return to winning ways.
First time for me at Northampton, so another one to 'tick off' after watching a 0-2 score line.
On the subject of grounds, I know MK get a lot of stick for obvious reasons but I must say their stadium is fabulous. It's the first time I have been there for a night game (Twice before, but never an evening game) and I was looking around before the kick-off thinking how impressive it was and the fact that they could be in League two next season, amazing!
