Probably SouthYorks.Police who insist on the very wide area between home and away fans but why do the Met in the London Borough allow just one line of stewards to divide the fans?

We should invest in some barriers that alleviate the physical side of the stewards workload.

The 500 or so seats SYP insist on could be sold with an assurance no incursions would happen.

A nice 20,000 V one would be nice for the Millwall animals.

The police have a few numpties who are singing and shouting penned in at the railway station at the mo. They are keeping each other occupied at the moment

There is a perfect walkway from the ground and running parallel to the railway - taking the away fan under the bridge to cop station where away coaches should be parked.

Just Do It !

Rovers fans are saying that about 100 of them were given Dispersal Orders (ie sent home from Rotherham under threat of arrest if they returned) in various pubs early yesterday. They are gnashing their teeth about that, but it does beg the question what were they doing in Rotherham in a pub at 10 in the morning? I doubt it was Rotary Club meeting. I worry about any society where the police can arbitrarily dish Orders out like that, but suspect that most on the wrong end of them weren't angels.

More concerning is that a number of apparently reasonable people are saying they were spat on and had things thrown at them from the upper tier outside the West Stand as they walked near the coaches on the lower tier. No reason not to believe them. If we have supporters who do that, we as a club should be ashamed and should be rooting them out and banning them.

The mini pitch invasion at the end was an embarrassment too. Makes us look tin pot.

There is definitely a revival of hooliganism creeping back into the game. Donny have their own element as do all clubs I suspect. Get them stamped on.

" I worry about any society where the police can arbitrarily dish Orders out like that"

This is a fine statement and reasonable but then to follow this up with:

" Get them stamped on"

Says exactly what the Police are up against.

Thought there looked a few empty seats in the away end. East stand at bottom end near away fans one of the blocks only looked half full. Crowd 11,725. Could we have got another 75 in to break the ground attendance record set against Sheff U last time we were in league 1?

I think the empty seats were mainly free m people staring in the walkways the stewards always have trouble clearing. I’ve only seen Wigan fans (when the away end is mainly full) sit in the seats as they should.
