Teams In Trouble

MK Dons are suddenly in a lot of trouble.  Good.  Here's hoping we can put another nail in that particular coffin when we go there in a few weeks time.  A repeat of the Warnock pasting we gave out two seasons ago would be fabulous.

Chesterfield are in a hole. Their supporters have been sold down the river and I feel for them.  They are a proper football club.  I hope they can rescue the season.

There won't be many tears shed if MK Dons took the drop Smiler. The shallacking we gave them a couple of seasons ago is one of my top 5 away days of all time! Fleetwood are also in dire straits. After last year's showing and beating us first game of this season (one of my least favourite away days!) they must be really surprised to find themselves battling relegation.

I thought Chesterfield had sorted their problems out but their recent form is as bad as our's is good. It would be a shame to lose a local side from the football league.

We've got to get away from Chairmen taking gambles. FFP doesn't go far enough. It's about time a wage cap for each league was introduced. That would put more value on coaching and produce better coaches, and put more onus on bringing through the massive pool of talented youngsters we have in this country. Everyone still has the opportunity to work their way up the ladder, clubs are sustainably run, the risk is drastically reduced.
