Just when you think that the run has got to come to an end, Warne's boys keep proving what a quality solid unit they are. It might not have been the prettiest of games but we were playing the side at the top of the League and Rotherham did what was necessary to overcome a really consistent side - only their 3rd defeat at home this season. Admittedly, the teams above us have games in hand but they must all be really concerned that the Millers are a major threat for those automatic spots if they were to slip up.
On now to the Doncaster game. Their manager on praise or grumble suggested that the pitch at the Keepmoat wasn't of sufficient quality today to allow neat football to be played out from the back. He reckoned it would be the same next Saturday - has he been to NYS before and seen the grass laid by Axminster?!!
Warne is very cautious about automatic promotion, and realistically it is an outside possibility, but so was not being beaten in 13, scoring in the last 25 games or winning the last six on the trot. Accordingly, anything is now possible.
