Portsmouth v Rotherham United - Match Predictions - Sunday - Sky Sports - 2.30 p.m.

Can we pull off a shock away win? It's a must win game for me. We need to get back on track, focus and start climbing the

League 1 table. Losing is not an option. We need to stop the shilly shallying and hit Pompey where it hurts.

I'm going for a 3-1 win for The Millers.

Gonna be easy then at 3-1 ,what I saw last week we will be still waiting for a long awaited away win after 5pm tomorrow.

Its hard to make a case for us winning. Being as optimistic as I can be, 1-1 draw.

There has to be a turning point in our fortunes.

It could happen any time and anywhere.

I hate to say it - I really do, but I think we will lose by 1 goal tomorrow.

If we don't make progress in the next few weeks, a few draws or even another win, then we can kiss goodbye to League 1.

It doesn't take long before confidence goes into a nosedive and morale falls away.

We need to get something at Pompey today. I believe that we have a number of players who can turn things around.

Looks to be 4-5-1 long ball game from us ☹️ Starting XI: O'Donnell, ***mings, Ihiekwe, Wood, Purrington, Williams, Vaulks, Potter, Frecklington, Taylor, Moore

The funny thing is that 4-5-1 only really works if you play a passing game (Charlton a good example), but I suspect you are right Gaz!

Happy to see Purrington get a chance.

Sorry to see Newell out. I know he was poor against Charlton but he is the best footballer we have.

Ajayi made one mistake too many. I agree that he had to be taken out if only to give him a breather, but I worry about Wood. What are the odds on Portsmouth getting a penalty?

Some big decisions there. Credit at least to Warne for having the guts to change things.

Weren't we good, eh? 4-4-2 and 4-5-1. What's all that about? We beat a team now coached by a tactically inept coach.

I realised that before a ball was kicked today. It was in plain sight.

 Lolz.

You remind me a bit of TTB, Wotsisname.  Keep going with the wild predictions (like us to win away) and it stands to reason you will be spectacularly right eventually.

Did any of the Millers' coaching staff or players read this thread and think how motivational and inspiring it was?

'We need to stop the shilly shallying and hit Pompey where it hurts'. Those words alone may have caused the Millers to gird their

loins and win away after many moons.

Even the drummer down at Pompey put down his stick in disbelief. Well, it was wet and windy. Who wants a wet drumstick anyway?
