According to o/s we have signed this young man from Brentford for an undisclosed fee on a two and a half year deal.

I am glad it is a signing and not a loan.  I am also generally speaking in favour of spotting talented young players and bringing them through.  I would only question whether in addition to Purrington, Ajayi, Ihiekwe, Dominic Ball and Josh Emmanuel on loan another young and inexperienced defender was what we needed right now.

Good luck to the lad.

Another "prospect", exactly what is needed right now, top marks for all involved. Funny that Jerry Yates will now be classed as one of our more experienced players eh?

New signing Manny Onariase described his move to Rotherham United as 'massive opportunity' after sealing a deal to join the Millers.
Manager Paul Warne swooped for the 20-year-old defender after a week training with the club, with the youngster signing a two-year deal after the Millers agreed an undisclosed fee with Brentford.
The former West Ham United youngster made great strides last season after playing 24 times in all competitions for Cheltenham Town, and impressed Warne sufficiently to earn a permanent switch to the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
