ST Sales

According to the club sales of season tickets are nearing 5,500 which taking last seasons debacle into account is little short of astonishing.

RUFC the supporters have backed you, now give us some hope for the season ahead. One or two more good quality signings will help, as would an improved rapport & fan communication. The public thanks to the fans via the website is a good start.

Yes indeed, and as Brad says, that's not bad going, considering the horrible season we had last time.

I can see us being one of the best supported teams in League One, with Blackburn Rovers being the best.

If we finish above Blackburn we'll win the league!    biggrin

As much as I moan about the shambles that run RUFC I will stick with them and have renewed my three. I just hope we have a decent season and STAY in L1.

I thought the supporters were generally speaking pretty tolerant during the disaster that was last season, and this is another great show of support.

Getting at least a solid start to the season will be vital.

It says a lot about Rotherham United supporters. The question is, does the club deserve such loyalty ? My view is they do not. I just hope that they appreciate the dedication of the fans and buck their ideas up and start treating them with respect, on and off the pitch.

Special, cir***stances, mean that I will be renewing my and my sons on Monday 19/6. Due to medical reasons, the club has agreed to this 'renewal extension'.....well done the ticket office & Paul Douglas who have been excellent.

The bad news is that UEFA have reviewed my coaching qualification and their decision is to effectively stop me doing 'on field' work, yet they state that I will still be entitled to use "UEFA A LICENSED COACH" as a titular group adjective. I completed basic FA level badges in the late 80's...Moved to Malta where I was allowed to convert those FA qualifications to a UEFA C License and for 4 further years, I completed my UEFA A Badge mostly in Catania, under the auspices of the Italian FA.

This because of serious Heart problems/surgery, 2 bad strokes and a knee operation, all in the last 3 years.

So the hard work, (mostly advanced Nutrition, hydration, transition work, team shape/balance and injury prevention/treatment) of the 'A' licence was a waste of time? 'No' I feel honoured to have coached at such a high level and I take this opportunity to thank the players and staff Nadur FC, Ghajsielem FC, Xewkija FC, Gozo U11's - U15's and ESPECIALLY the Maltese and Gozo national ladies teams.

This is my first post and I can still (after 1 year of correspondence with the Italian FA) officially sign out,

UEFA A Licensed coach
