Lots of supporters need some reassurances that we will be able to compete in League 1 in this next season. I'm sure that this post may fall on stoney ground. But hey, some journos may pick up on this and do some digging.
Mssrs Cawthorn & Davis do & report what the club tells it to so don't hold your breath mate & we're not important enough (not Premier League or southern) for the Nationals to bother.
Other journos are available who will be more able to enlighten us. I'm sure the ones you have mentioned did make some lacklustre attempts to whet our appetites. However, they, Messrs Cawthorn and Davis, could have been more dynamic in their approach. There was too much repetition and clichéd rhetoric in some of their reporting. Perhaps some people were too critical of their work. As a result dummies were spat out and the rest is history. I would welcome a response from aforementioned journos to discuss my take on this situation.

I think they behaved like spoilt brats. We have read hundreds and hundreds of their articles peddling RUFC bull**** and when we asked them to be proper journalists and not mouthpieces for TS they bottled it.
I'd like them to come on here and say why they didn't echo what we were saying about what would happen (and did) in their soft questioning of the club. They should have dared RUFC to ban them from stadium by exposing the nonsense and rhetoric around "Top 5 Budgets", "Experienced Manager Required" etc.
I still think the Jackett saga was a lot more interesting than him just not being up for it - what was he promised? what was he then offered?
They have both got decent, fairly well paid jobs I imagine & like a lot of people are not going to put their "careers" or lifestyle in jeopardy for anyone, so no-one should expect any change from their towing the clubs line stance, but I'm absolutely certain that they both still read the posts here on MB probably anonymously so it may help them (or their consciences) to read the views of supporters who actually have to pay to watch the Millers.
